What happens to the 1.2million brits who have left to live in the EU? will they have to all come home? If we leave.

I still find it hard to understand why anybody leans towards the EU when they are the mosFor me I like the fact he sticks to his views and seems to genuinely cares about people who are less fortunate. I think some of his ideas are completely nuts and unworkable. As an opposition though he will put Cameron under pressure on key issues and that's a good thing.
While I lean to the right, I cannot condone the fraud the bankers got away with and the fact there have hardly been any prosecutions. I also cannot condone people freezing in their own homes or not being able to afford food.
I don't know will they? For some reason you seemed convinced they will. What happens to the 1.2million brits who have left to live in the EU? will they have to all come home? If we leave.

Well if they go and round the Brits up, then I suppose they will have to deport every person who doesn't come from a country belonging in the EU. Not likely, I don't reckon. Anyway, a lot of them people who have emigrated will have citizenship with their 'new' country.I still find it hard to understand why anybody leans towards the EU when they are the mos

Britain doesn't send ANY refugees back to Greece despite EU rules because the country is 'too unsafe'What are the pros and cons of Britain exiting/staying in the EU?

The web page I found gives some insightful arguments, opinions, and some conjecture - in the pros and cons of 'Brexit'
for example the question- People
This is controversial but the free movement of people is a big aspect of EU. That Britons can freely study in Holland or can buy a home in Spain is a benefit of the EU.
Conversely, the fact that all those Polish plumbers can work in UK is another facet. Economists would describe that as a win (better work for lower prices creates more national wealth) but it is controversial and it is less popular with people who dislike the immigration.
But if UK were to leave then those current immigrants would have no right to stay in UK; and the British working in other countries (eg Brits retired to Spain) may no longer have the right to stay there.
See If any member state were to leave the EU, would its citizens resident in other EU states also have to leave?
One more element is what are the alternatives to the EU? Most of our commonwealth countries do not need us as they have other trading partners, and the rest of the world mainly buys from China. If we go alone it could cost more because of the diminished demand by a small(ish) country.
there are countries queuing up to trade with britain, Netherlands exports 4.5 billion a year to uk and says it will continue trading regardless
scaremongeringYes, but we wont get preferential rights the way EU members do (Switzerland has agreements with the EU, but they still pay more than the UK currently does to trade with the EU). The cost of importing from the EU will go up, and so will the cost of exporting. EU will just realign their trade to other countries, and companies (service, financial and manufacturing) will move HQs out of the UK and into the EU where they will be able to trade more freely with a greater # of countries and decrease their overheads - unless the UK gives them better tax breaks, which means losing more money as companies will pay even less corporate tax than they do now.
red light prossies as well
germany are offering preferential treatment for brit pensioners who want to move there they will even get free medical help. What happens to the 1.2million brits who have left to live in the EU? will they have to all come home? If we leave.

Surprises me not one jot.Judge lets Romanian rapist back into Britain because it would break EU law to deport him back to his home country
You must log in or register to see images
Mircea Gheorghiu served less than three years in jail for rape before moving to the UK illegally. He was sent back to Romania under the 'deport first, appeal later' scheme but has been allowed back.
yet another reason to vote no
could have taken a dutch passport years ago i wont im British and proud of it.Many of them will probably take foreign nationalities if they qualify.
They won't have the EU residency rights anymore.
