It's PL predictions so the headline on Sports front page is 'My Auntie is to blame for my support of Liverpool' Why should she have to take any blame ?! #neutral http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35542725
Oh goody: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/class-92-set-second-series-7429773 Do you get a feeling that this will run and run until Uniturd get back to pre-Moyes levels? #distractionfromvangaal
bbc salford paying towards their local club's promotion fight to the detriment of all Salford City's league opponents. No bias there then from MUFC's Fanzine dept on the Quays.
Credit to who?, Salford City?, for what, being owned by the "class of 92"? The bbc are paying the club for exclusive behind the scenes footage, of the everyday running of a lower league club...wow. That money obviously helps them in their fight for promotion(better players, wages etc), the situation at Salford is similar but on a obviously smaller scale to what the mancs accuse City and Chelsea of, sugar daddy money and being handed success on a plate instead of earning it. Plenty of more worthwhile ways the beebs money could be spent on football, for example Carlisle Utd and the aftermath of the floods, Everton fans raised a massive £10k in donations during their recent FA Cup tie up there and fair play to them.
Yes! They have famous owners that attracts attention. Why not take advantage of that situation for the benefit of Salford City? If you have a issue with anyone surely it's got to be the BBC for running a show you don't agree with. Personally, I think its been good to watch.
I ain't got an issue with their owners, its the licence payers money the club itself are getting from their biased parochial neighbours at the nationally owned bbc that I disagree with.
I don't think it's a club related issue. The class of 92 could have played for West Ham or Spurs and it would have still been a great story. Five former internationals buying a non-league club will always attract attention. The fact its the "class of 92" is irrelevant really but its a nice pretty pink tag they can attach to the story isn't it?
If the "class" had played for Spurs or Wet Spam there would be no programme, there is only a programme because it's the Salford connection between the 3 club's, SCFC, MUFC and BBCMUFC supporters club.
Re the Saville Inquiry - looks like all the senior managers have got away, but they've got Tony Blackburn's head on a stick for their token sacrifice.
Keeping track of our game on the BBC text reporting, as I don't have BT, but all I'm getting is stuff about Man U. FFS! There's a game that's currently being played can't they concentrate on that for 90mins, can't they just report on how boring Man U are playing when Man U are playing?
