Charlton, Bolton and Rotherham are looking stranded at the bottom of the table, 6 points adrift from MK Dons.

Warnock's Rotherham kept it tight at Reading, losing 1-0. I watched them at Burnley, where they also kept it tight, but wasted good opportunities to score.

Charlton lost 2-1 at Preston with our Yun Suk-Young staying on the bench, while Rod Fanni got the nod.

January signings Yun Suk-Young and Rod Fanni are in contention for their debuts in defence as Patrick Bauer and Alou Diarra nurse injuries.

From the twitter feed, Smithies seem to have played a blinder and not just the penalty save.
Mof the Match apparently

Just caught the Highlights on Sky

Stupid tackle from Onouha to concede the pen, clean strike from Toszer for our goal, and very very lucky not to concede a second penalty after a potential foul from Grant Hall.

Smithies kept us in it with some smart saves. What a refreshing change to see someone who can actually dive low to make saves!

Just seem the goals & good strike by Toszer but terrible defending for there's, 3 of them & first one didn't jump & let the bloke have a run at it & took if well.

Sorry but I'm getting fed up with these draws, JFH needs to man up and go for the jugular when we are one up.

This build from the back crap will see us mid table for the foreseeable future.

Bring back Gigi and let's see some attacking football, you score 4 we will score 5.

Unimpressed..

I don't really see how you can be unimpressed with a draw on a Tuesday up north in Feb against a decent side. Exactly the sort of fixture you'd have us nailed on to **** up for as long as I've been watching QPR

Maybe I should borrow those rose tinted glasses some of you are wearing.

It is time to wake up, the last ten results under JFH have been unacceptable (bar that one win)

Sooner or later something has to give because this can't go on much longer, negative football does not win matches.

Nothing has to give. The season is over. Let the bloke try and build something rather than jumping from manager to manager every time we don't win for a few games. We aren't suddenly going to get top managers going for the job.

Just in the door and seen the goals on SSN. I see the new Macca didn't bother to mark his man for their goal. Still, happy enough with an unexpected point.

The Owls rued two penalty incidents as they were held to a 1-1 draw by QPR at Hillsborough on Tuesday.

First, Atdhe Nuhiu missed from 12 yards before the visitors broke on a rare counter attack and scored through Daniel Tozser.

Then, a minute from time, Kieran Lee went down in the box but the referee waived away the home side’s appeals for a second spot-kick.

Carlos Carvalhal said: “I do not like to talk about the referees as you know but tonight I think that was a certain penalty.

“I have seen the images and I have spoken to Kieran Lee, who would tell me if it wasn’t a penalty, but he said it definitely was and I believe him 300%.

“I don’t like to focus on this decision though because we should have taken our chances and we have to take our part in that.

Genuine question......where was Konch? Anyone know.....
Injured, Dropped to beyond the bench.

It did seem strange ( and worrying) to have no defence on the bench beyond Diakite.....who is not my idea of a defender

David Oldfield in the pre-match interview on the Official said the game came too early for Konch. He talked about he'd been playing well with the Group a while. He made it sound like, to me anyway, he'd been carrying a knock for some time but playing through it, but had to sit this one out it coming so soon after Saturday.

Henry for sure and maybe Mackie could have filled in at RB, and Ned at CB if there had been a need for a sub in the back 4.

Nor mine. If only we had an international left-back or a kid who had looked good in pre-season and in the League Cup.
