Not me. I'm a genuine, "don't know".
I voted, "in" when we had the original vote. So, sorry, partly my fault.

Reason's for leaving would be the colossal amounts of money they waste (the complete opposite of Onionmans's argument). They used to rotate the HQ between Brussels and Strasbourg to keep the French happy, cost €200m plus a year. Do they still do this? I know they voted against it but the French vetoed it. Plus 1000s of staff in Luxembourg of course!
Years ago, I visited our MEP, James Hill, in Brussels. At one point during our discussion he had to break off to vote. Now, he had taken no part, active or passive, in the debate because he had been talking to me. So, in effect, the debate was completely irrelevant and the cost of him being there was just money for nothing (and that is insignificant in relation to other major, equally unnecessary costs).

Then there is the ridiculous concept of further political integration. Lets face it Scotland even wants independence from Britain so how anyone expects the whole of Europe to be one 'United State' I don't know.

Reasons for staying, basically the great unknown. No one actually knows what will happen, how the rest of Europe will treat us etc. It would be a gamble.

Think you may need this :)
The voting thing is the same in the UK Parliament. A bell rings if they have to vote because they can't agree something in the chamber. All the MP's vote, usually on party lines, so I assume this may have been something similar.
Part of the deal DC got is removing the ever closer union part so if we stayed there won't be anymore of that. Even if the MP's want to it is already in law that they have to have another referendum if they want to give away more powers. So we could all say no. Scotland is a strange case. The SNP don't want to be part of the UK but do want to be in Europe. Either way it's not really independence.

I'm another "I don't know" and don't particularly care how any politician votes because they've each got their own agenda. Like St Badger (and others) I'd like impartial facts and figures, not emotional rhetoric. What worries me is that so many people will vote as they think being out of Europe will keep those useless foreign Johnies off our shores and that will be their only reason.

Can I also say, as a pretty new member, that this is one of the most sensible, mature forums to be a part of. OK, there have been sulks, there have been slight upsets but what I like is that people here are willing to apologise if someone gets upset, are supportive during sad times and make me laugh on a daily basis, so thank you :emoticon-0137-clapp

Hmm, reasonable as it may look, all the debunking examples are teased out from the Remain side. Now I wonder why SKY did it that way?

Oh, I know. They're not un-biased. :)
Big companies scared a UK out of the EU will raise their taxes? I like how the opt in said 50% of companies want to stay in, yet only came out with about 20. One was Virgin.... their owner has escaped tax for years.

My initial leaning to exit the EU has been somewhat tempered by the company I'd be keeping (Ukip, Boris, the mad bloke who lives a few doors up from me).

My wife is voting to stay in, so we're likely to cancel each other out.

This is why I am not going to vote because of who is in each camp. If I was going to do that I wouldn't vote at all.

Don't forget George Galloway or is that the mad bloke a few doors from you?

BBC Headline:
"EU exit would risk jobs, says group of business bosses"

36 businesses signed the letter arguing the above point, 64 did not.

I'm trying hard to forget George Galloway, mainly 'cos I have this picture in my head of him in a cat suit.

I think the bloke in our street is just a general 'outer'. If you had a vote on leaving the human race he'd be there, voting out while shouting about his human rights. He has a flag pole in his garden up which various flags have been raised over the years, latest is the Dorset flag (grotty yellow with a white/red cross). I have actually seen people cross the road when he approaches :)

To be honest, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have. Cheap comments like those in the video are not becoming of any politician, certainly not of Dennis Skinner.

I quite agree. I don't agree with all of Corbyn's politics, but he has remained fairly dignified throughout and I respect that. There is no place in the modern world for a political house which resembles a naughty classroom. Disgraceful.
