it's hypocritical
It's not really. If he plays well they cheer him. If he plays **** they boo or call him ****. Makes perfect sense.

Why? We said our piece and now it's time to move on. Simples.it's hypocritical

You really don't want to go into the "class fans" thing.http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/article/31518394/asian-chelsea-fan-says-hes-disgusted-by-racist-abuse
racially abuse your own fans

With your history you're best keeping your trap shut. Mugging your own for tickets in Athens 2007.or not letting black people board public transport?

Completely agree with that. Always under rated by a section of our fans but never by any Chelsea manager since he came to the Bridge. Because of the roll he plays he is always going to misplace a certain amount of passes. Even Makelele the master, whose name is forever associated with the role, put an odd pass astray. Always liked Mikel for his loyalty to the Club and his efforts over the years. The man also played on the night that gave us the greatest moment in our history.Mikel embarrassing the haters again with a very good performance.
It's odd that the manager clearly rates him, the results have been better since he's been in the team, the supporters gave him a standing ovation and the commentators all said he's been a revelation since coming back in the side. Yet some 'fans' still get on his case......![]()
