HIAG's doing his best to try and not appear bothered about going out of the FA cup. Just as I had predicted, Spurs fans would try and brush it off claiming they didn't care. He walked straight into it
Spurs are estimated to have paid around £25k this week to Adabayor to help his team knock them out of the cup today. #shrewdgenius
I think Adebayor does the bare minimum to earn a new contract, then gives it a shot for a couple of months before finding something new to moan about before he eventually gives up.
Estimated by the reported £75k per week that Palace are paying him, with Spurs making up the £25k shortfall in the £100k they were paying him.
You've denied it to death, but the fact remains that it's been widely reported that Spurs were paying him £100k up until Palace took on £75k of it. Spurs continue to pay Adebayor £25k per week, this week it paid for him to help knock you out of the FA cup
Pixie has trouble in comprehending how severance packages work, and that, sometimes, especially with large pay-offs, the parties agree to sums being paid in instalments (this could be part of tax-planning on the part of the recipient). We shouldn't blame Pixie for this lack of understanding, as I have pointed out in previous posts, no matter how embarrassing his posts may seem. We can blame him no more than we can blame a dog with an itchy arse that drags it across the carpet in front of polite company. Make light of it, lads! Laugh about it, but carry on drinking your tea and act as though nothing had happened. The dog will still have an itchy arse, despite your blushes.
Apart from the fact that you and your fellow spuds took around 10 pages of mass hissy fits to eventually understand this very agreement, which I had pointed out in the first place. I think we all know who was dragging their arse across the floor on this one ....
My recollection of that series of posts is that you took a right Royal kicking from all-comers, Pixie. It was, quite possibly, the most epic mass "owning" ever witnessed on this site.
