Ah mate, Dover just down the road, not the worst place you could have ended up, in fact half the world risk their lives each day to try and get there. Lucky that the French weren't on strike and 'operation stack' in place, then you really would have road rage. Bloody roads.
I lived in Egerton Forstal for 6 years, which is about as smack in the middle of Kent as makes no difference. Weald area clay. It is definitely colder, on average, than Hampshire. Always used to surprise me when we'd come back for a visit in early October, and we'd have a second layer on and get out of the car in Southampton to be met by a balmy warmth. Wasn't a fluke either. Statistically, I believe Hampshire goes into winter about 7-10 days after Kent and comes out correspondingly earlier. Not the sort of thing one would immediately notice, I feel, but we did. As to trees, Kent has loads. Hampshire just has loads more. I like trees.
Six people died, and another two were seriously injured — including a 14-year-old girl who had been pronounced brain dead but squeezed her mother's hand as doctors were preparing to harvest her organs, police said. Amid the carnage, her case stood out as a miracle, authorities said. The girl was initially reported dead. But more than an hour later, as doctors were preparing to harvest her organs, she squeezed her mom's hand, Michigan State Police Lt. Dale Hinz told NBC News. She was then able to respond to questions by squeezing her mom's hand several more times, and was rushed into surgery. "It's an absolute miracle," Hinz said. http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...unded-after-random-shootings-michigan-n522946 ****ing hell....
Mods still talking about it. At the moment the Saints board moderators are, literally, spread across the whole diameter of the Earth, so we're not even all awake at the same time. Not that we are at the best of times...
Read previous posts. In the meantime, if you are desperate to talk about this subject on a football forum you can discuss it on here, or better still, go to General Chat where there is a lovely thread where some lovely Scotsmen are waiting to welcome you... Anyway, what's IMP?
Mods, can we open the EU debate please. It's time to shoot down Boris!! An IMP is a Mallorcan lizard!!
Makes my toes curl up inside my shoes. Yes, I'm petrified of heights. Strangely, in an aircraft you can do almost anything to me and I love it.
