http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/sa...lass_nuisance_with_a_touch_of_genius/?ref=rss Echo article talking about why Koeman can't drop Long...describing him as a world class nuisance with flashes of genius. Likens him to the cartoon character Taz....which for younger readers is a Tasmanian Devil who looks like he runs on spinning wheels rather than legs. The absence of other strikers has given Long his chance and most fans can now see his value. He may miss goals (but so do Pelle and Mane), but he causes havoc which opens up chances both for Long and others. His endless energy and speed is a massive plus for us.
Remember that Hassan gave that to the team, but specifically to Beatts, who saluted him back. So they're all related? Just thought! Beatts played for Blackburn and so did Tim Westwood. Must be related.
Good read, and unusually well balanced. Thought with this being a blank weekend it was almost worth it's own thread "What do we think of it so far?" style. But Fran you've nipped in to add it to your personal thread, I see!
http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/arti...-sheet-fraser-forster-paul-jones-2946488.aspx Article on OS talking about beating our clean sheet record if we can prevent Chelsea scoring #crossfingers References an article in Chelsea Matchday Magazine. We need the Matchday thread for this.
Southern Europe. Damn it! Already out of winter. Reminds me of spending 7 days in Malta, some years ago, whilst doing some field work there. Came back on 1st March with a good tan. The best we can say about our region of the UK is that we've got pretty much the best weather going here. Make the most of it Ronald.
