Did their keeper really have a great game? Apart from Campbell's free-kick, every shot was very central to the goalkeeper and they were saves that goalkeepers should be making.

It is worrying that we have one of the highest shots per game, yet the lowest conversion rate. That to me says that our finishing is not good enough.

Hull defended very resolutely but if we need to bring on Sanchez and Giroud to try and beat them - which we still couldn't do - then we have far bigger problems to worry about.

Everyone knows we need a world class striker, that fact has not changed since the last 2 years.

It's not just the striker, the entire team needs to learn how to ****ing finish in front of goal. The amount of shots we have far exceeds the amount that we convert into goals and it simply isn't good enough from a side that regularly competes in the Champions League.

I've just heard that our replay is on March 8th. So after Barcelona at home, United away, Swansea at home and Spurs away, we have Hull away in midweek before we play West Brom (which we probably won't win considering we struggle to break down stubborn defences).

Fun times ahead...

Speaking of the replay, the only time I can see them scheduling it is midweek after the Spurs away game, if we do beat Hull, it means we will play back-back cup games as the weekend 12th March fixture is the FA Cup quarter final, and oh yes, our home league game VS West Brom, which we will also have to reschedule if we do beat Hull.

That is not going to be a fun period, Spurs away, Hull away, a potential quarter final Fa Cup tie against who knows, and could be away, and Barca away, and Everton away. We can end up playing 5 bloody away games in a row. We're already on 4 away games, it's going to be one very tough period.

Just got back from the game wondering what it is about the Emirates that inspires opposition goalkeepers and makes our forwards reluctant to shoot.
Downside - poor performances from Walcott and Campbell. Not sharp-witted enough in general.
Upside - good performances from Welbeck, Iwobi and Chambers.
Didn't need a replay but we have one and a cup to defend.
Credit to Hull for a spirited and organised disply - don't suppose they need a replay either.

The West Brom game will have to be rescheduled should we beat Hull, it's such close timing, so that's going to be a logistical **** up waiting to happen....We can end up playing 5 away games in a row during that period should we get an away tie in the QF's.

The only positive is that with most of our squad back, we can handle a replay, we have a lot of options for rotation.

At least we can score against 11 men away from home, so I actually think we could get better results away from home than at home.

But I'm not gonna sugarcoat it - it's not fun watching Arsenal at the moment. Dour, lethargic, predictable and monotonous.

We look like a very mediocre outfit overall. Hopefully we can hold it together against Barcelona and perform like we did against Bayern at The Emirates - otherwise we will get butchered.

Last week you lot scored a really late goal...this week half your crowd left with five mins to play...not just a dig a gooners...never understood it and never will

I used to hate seeing people leave before the final whistle. When I first started going to watch Arsenal, my Dad used to make us start making our way towards the exits with about 10 mins to go so that we could get a tube that wasn't packed. I used to hate it and I'd be clinging on for as long as I could. When I was old enough to go with my mates, I used to make a point of staying until pretty much everybody else had ****ed off and the ground was empty, still got a quiet tube then too <ok> I've seen so many great moments in the last 10 mins of games, that I'd never leave a match before the final whistle.

Just saw the (brief) highlights on the BBC website. Two absolute stonewall pens ! ridiculous inconsistency in refereeing decisions over pens given and not given recently. Anyway, I thought we looked pretty lively, albeit without scoring. I reckon we'll do the job up at Hull.

Oh yeah, and I liked that idea of passing a ball on the floor to Elneny to shoot from a corner. We get so many corners in our games, and we rarely threaten from them. I'd like to see us use this option more often.

I went to a game at Old Trafford years ago, we were losing 1-0 with about 5 minutes to go. My mate persuaded me to leave early 'to beat the rush'. Frank Stapleton scored twice for us ( I told you it was years ago!) and I still got stuck in a traffic jam. Never left a game early since, never will.

Eh? Coming to arsenal and stopping us scoring is not a difficult feat.

20 home games this season, 4 home games we have failed to score. The opening game to West Ham, the 0-0 against Liverpool with an onside goal ruled offside, and the Southampton game are the only home games we have failed to score this season prior to today's game.
