I'm interested to see just how big a mugs Barca make you look next Tuesday. So,I shall watch with a kind of horrified fascination. Sort of like watching an execution, I imagine.

Well if you continually eff up topping your group in a UEFA cup group stage,
then you have to expect to play a superb team in the first KO round that will tear you
    a new one.

"And does anybody really care ?"

    Kroenke and Wenger do.
Poor PL UEFA rankings = no 4th place PL Cup = no CL money to put into the wage kitty.

Where are we with Country rankings? Need Bayern to knock out Juve and RM to complete the job on Roma. Could actually support City and Chelsea for the next round or two.

"Where are we with Country rankings?"

Not sure of the precise numbers, but "precarious" seems to be the general statement.

  7. So, Pixie is predicting that we will lose, tonight.

He'll be hoping that that doesn't come back to haunt him.

Clearly you're having trouble understanding the concept of post tense.

    Italy
14.416 14.166 19.000 10.333 This season to come but 57.915 at the start

CL Italy 2 in Group stages. Both qualified for knockouts (none with winning their group). Both highly likely to exit this round.
CL England 4 in Group Stages - 3 qualified for next round - 2 as winners of their group. 2 have a reasonable chance of progressing

Europa Italy 3 in Group Stages, all 3 progress, 2 as Group Winners
Europa England 2 in Group Stages, both won their group. Joined by 3rd team in knock out stages.

I would say (without knowing how it works) that we are up this year?

Clearly you're having trouble understanding which season the 4th PL CL
slot is now under real danger of being lost in.

  19. It would be nice to have your thoughts on the new Arsenal v Barca thread that's been posted, Pix.

There's some lively and balanced debate going on.
