These supporters as known as glory supporters. They follow teams that are winning trophies. In the early 70s it was MU, Leeds & Lpool. Funningly enough, you don't see too many Leeds fans knocking around Hull anymore. I am unsure why that is I hate anyone that picks their team on trophies won as IMO you are a bellend. I hate plastic MU & lpool fans as much as 70s plastic Leeds fans. Good luck tonight
Being the so called 'Biggest' is always going to be subjective regardless of which team you support. Leeds is like Hull was nowadays ...kids increasingly glory hunting. I suppose you'd have the NSPCC after their parents if they made them follow Leeds TBF ps you don't see too many Leeds fans knocking around Hull anymore cos they've managed to escape! Only kidding, it's a good city
You're a bit like Spurs in what you've won except they've continued to be at the top level for the past thirty odd years whereas you've been mainly in lower leagues.
Haha, nice reply mate! Sadly though, they are still here but keep very quiet. A few I know from school now follow Hull City. They are commonly known as ****ers
Very unlikely me thinks with the ongoing off field distractions - watch SKY tonight, it sounds like it's going to kick off big style in terms of the anti Cellino stuff ..
Have you got a replacement owner in case he doesn't show up tomorrow. I know the guy is deluded but if he just walks away...you're screwed aren't you?
He promised to sell to a fans consortium, and then the next day reneged on it ( No surprise there, he seems to have a habit of changing his mind) There are some very wealthy fans eg Steve Parkin, owner of Clipper Logistics, in the background. I don't think he can afford to walk away, he would stand to lose too much. That's assuming of course he's been using his own funds! I don't think he'll show up tonight ... he tends to conveniently disappear when things turn against him. Unless he's curious about what surprise might be in store ...
I think you'll win. Boro have to win to go top. All the pressure is on them. They nearly ****ed up at MK Dons last week.
