Shorter price at 11/8 than I'd hoped for as there's fair bit of depth to this race but I do like BLACK HERUCLES a lot. He destroyed a decent horse in Warwick giving him weight. Jumps like a seasoned pro and stays, he wins this before heading off for the NH Chase.

Gowran-Black Hercules/Blow by Blow Double 9/4.Ðecent wager again, should both win.
In 3.30 Augher Castle is a nice Ew price at 10s with PP for a horse with a C&D victory.

    3.10 EXETER- UKNOWWHATIMEANHARRY- 4/1

Been a revelation of a horse since moving to Harry Fry is 3/3 this season and wearing a Tongue strap! His most notable win was at Cheltenham grade 2 in November beating one or two of this field (scoop the pot being one altho he is giving weight ) that win put him in the market for Albert Bartlett! Obv connections have gone for an easier race! He was then one of the favourites for the big hurdle at Kempton (I think it was ) but scoped dirty and was scratched! Likes big fields and won't mind the ground - fancy him to run well at the festival in March and this looks slightly easier than his last assignments and can make his class felt!

Having a quick look at plumptons card on Monday to see if it is worth going! Some decent horses entered at the moment ! But intrestingly Willie Mullins has at the moment got one entered TOWNSHEND in a mares hurdle there , he must be really after that title and will Mr Ricci be there <laugh> must be his first entry there - hope she runs - could be a test to see how she copes with it before Cheltenham - as I know Gary Moore uses it as a experiment or a warm up before Cheltenham - and I take it that is what He is doing to Ar Mad to see how he is going left handed

Any thoughts on what Noel Meade may aim Monksland at?

I've nibbled at him at 50s on the exchange for the 4 miler- he really does seem to be doing his best work late since he's gone chasing and we know he falls just short of the top chasers at 3m. I thought the better ground and slower temp might just suit him in the 4 miler if he were to go that route, although its shaping up as a nice enough race.

Willie Mullins antepost lies know no bounds again.

Having chased home BLACK HERCULES over 3m, Willie Mullins stated that SAMBREMONT "looks a real staying chaser, I'd imagine he's heading into 4m territory"

Since then, he won over 2 and a half and now runs over 2m today at Navan <laugh>

Does he just feed Racing Post sound bites to catch out antepost punters? Or does he genuinely just fanny about with his chasers until he fits them all into his jigsaw?

Couldn't resist a nibble at Padge 20/1 in the 3.10 at Exeter. I was hoping they would actually keep him hurdling this season but he now reverts back to them after two recent blunders after an initial chase debut win. He will love the ground and the trip is perfect, the trip I wanted to see him step up to last season.

Flemenstorm 4/1 Navan 3.30 - also another back over hurdles today and is a horse in very good form currently. Given an awful ride LTO over fences, he can carry on where he left off his last hurdle win with Enright back on board.

Can see a few favs going in at both Southwell and Navan so my selections would be:

Southwell, Mazovian, Englishwoman, Imjan River, Cross Fire, St Patrick's Day and Rocket Power.
Navan, Alamein, Ttebob, Dedigout, Black Hercules and Blow by Blow.
Exeter, Rolling Dylan, Unowhatimeanharry and Masters Hill.

On the footie bit late but went for the 3 aways in Premiership.

Little e/w Tizaaaaaaaaaaaaaaard patent at Exeter - Western Approach, Golden Chieftain and Molineaux in the bumper. Hope that last one can keep the wolves from the door.

Crazy attempt at a tackle by Wasilewski in fairness, moment of madness but a nice floated free and well guided off the 'fro from Wellbeck. Opens the top up even more so.
