The Breakfast Debate

Where is Cellino any better than Bates, he is worse as he doesn't allow managers to get on with it.
Cellino = £15m for McCormack and Byram

Bates = £7m + Morrison for Becchio, Beckford, Gradel, Snodgrass, Howson, Clayton

Just 1 where

What Chairman agreed to sign those players including Ross? Cellino's signings are mainly useless loan players with no value.

Cellino also sold Smith when we are crying out for strikers and he sold Warnock and kept Wootton when crying out for some experience.

Can you remember some of his first signings on loan, the bunch that hardly played.

So Bates Picked the Players as well??

What Chairman brought us to the 3rd division for the only time ever? Who borrowed off season tickets years in advance, sold everything with a value and then sold out to those gfh shysters and that is why we are currently in the mess we're in. I agree cellino is not ideal but he pales in comparison to last 2 owners. and as Eire rightly says where are all the alternatives? I seriously believe if Cellino had not come in GFH would have put the club out of business.

So Bates signs a player, he sells them for a profit it is not acceptable.

Cellino signs 7,8 players on loan, allows them all to leave but that is better?
You know as well as everyone else he never got the value for those players he should have. Just look at how much they've been sold on for since

McCormack - offer too good to turn down

Byram - Would not renew his contract. Had to be sold (Though Admittedly was Cellino's fault in the first place for f@@ing about with his wages)

Big Philth said to me better the devil you know when Bates left and I was chearing for anyone but him to come in.

I think he was right. I agree 100% with ristac, Cellino is worse and he needs to get out before he destroys our club. Just my opinion, and I cant be arsed to argue with anyone anymore about it <ok>

I don't follow? I'm saying Cellino's model is to loan poor quality players that nobody else wants, Del Fabrio, Zac Benedic, Cani, DGoyi and a host of others I can't remember...

You picked up on my opening comment with the argument of who Bates sold compared to Cellino. I'm pointing out Bates authorised those signings in the first place, including Ross.
