I think we are going see Sturridge leave the club in the summer. Personally I 100% don't want him to go, but lots of things happening (papers, Instagram accounts, body language) suggest he wants out.

I can completely understand why he had struggled to be fit. Your hip bear the full brunt of your body weight the muscle injuries he's had since his hip op are not surprising to me.

He was probably advised by the club to have the op and now probably feels he's getting **** on by the club, ex pros and supporters.

I think people miss how much of an impact the op has had.

No one truly knows if it's mental or physical etc apart from the player himself.

His latest comeback has been very different to other times - Klopp rarely gave the media a time frame for his comeback and I don't think he even said what the injury was.

Out of nowhere, Sturridge is named on the bench. Despite the increased frustration, Klopp has tried to keep DS out of the limelight and allowed him to train at his own pace during his own preseason which is the right thing to do.

Let's hope he can stay fit. <ok>

Of course... just saying I get it. You can't explain the mindset unless you've felt it yourself.

But it could all be a moot point... he may just be physically injured all the time and the mentality isn't an issue. Hard to imagine someone reaching that level of any sport without wanting to maximise their pitch time.

EDIT: On a happier note it would be nice to finally see Sturridge, Coutinho and Firmino... lots to like about that combination.

I was just being a **** mate <laugh>

Fans are frustrated but the anger shown by a few directly to him is ridiculous and embarrassing.
This is true. Although I don't know why any footballer would make their online profiles public if they are thin skinned.

Everyone knows there are twunts who feel it is their right to level abuse at people online...(how many would say those things to a large pro athlete personally lol).

If you are that emptionally sensitive, switch your accounts to private..especially during rehab. Or have two separate accounts..one ran by your PR guys to get what info you want out there to the public..e.g. events, charity promo etc...

Of course I'm not suggesting Sturridge is actually bothered at all...it's a media story without confirmation...

Time for him to man up and stop stopping then.

Oh and it's a media story he is feeding as people will start writing about his deletion of lfc off instagram shortly.

Making comments about leaving and deleting all Liverpool related items from Instagram won't help his case like. If he doesn't want people to abuse him then simply don't encourage it ffs.

And no, I'm not saying people were right to abuse him. That is never acceptable.

Enough is enough is the new lfc motto.

Couldn't be bothered to create a new thread but Firmino won PFA player of the month.

Not bad for a poor mans Miralles.

It's not really that good either considering how **** we've been <laugh>

Edit: my bad, for some reason I thought this was a club award <doh>

Haha I was just about to say!

Fair play to him especially given he's playing with Milner and Lallana.
