yes exactly and when you're doing this you're tiring the opposition, who naturally will rush things a bit when they get possession back. Leicester never give you a moment's rest. yes, they're fit but they're positive. I roll my eyes when we sit on leads, off comes the attacker, on comes the holding midfielder.. it's an effort to control the midfield but you end up with no outlet and the team naturally pulls back.. inviting pressure.
I imagine that Leicester would have far too much for us.
No wait.
We beat them fair and square this season , Vardy, Mahrez and all.
That Steve Bruce and his crazy tactics, eh?

I would prefer it if City played buccaneering, attacking football but, in truth, we never have played football that way at any time since I saw my first match over 40 years ago. Steve Bruce is a risk-averse and unimaginative, but we are doing as well as can be reasonably expected for a club of our size and heritage. To suggest that the Leicester fairytale can easily be replicated simply by buying really great players that no-ones ever heard of for very little money and telling them to attack is moronic. Leicester are on an unprecedented run this season, one they are unlikely ever to replicate. Their success this season can hardly be used as a benchmark, or template for others. It's a freak event.

Our reserves beat their reserves.

It was a good performance and a good result, but if we played their first team we'd get tonked, they're not top of the Premier League by accident.

In the last 14 months we've played them 3 times, W1D1L1.
Nowt like tonked on any of those occasions.

Vardy played an hour as did Drinkwater. Inler from the start also Okazaki and Albrighton. Mahrez played played 35 minutes.

They were our reserves mate. Give it up.
I was surprised at how effective Drinkwater is. Not elegant like Bobby Moore, but damned effective. A defensive masterclass.
For me, Mahrez is their best player, and Vardy wouldn't do so well without him.
The key thing is, they are a TEAM.

To emulate Leicester, will we have to get the manager's son to abuse Thai prostitutes?

If Vardy is in your reserves, I wouldn't like to face your first XI.

Vardy isn't in our reserves. Our reserves started that game and some of our regulars started on the bench.

None of our players would do as well without Mahrez. Although N'Golo Kante is our best player.

Have seen every Leicester league game this season and for being consistently good I would rate Kante ahead of Mahrez.
