The guns being carried are AK47s, probably the most recognisable gun on the planet.
 
Having seen the pictures there's no way I wouldn't be extremely suspicious of those two carrying AKs . Another problem is for the times I've seen western armed police , I've never seen them hold a gun in this way . In the heat of the moment It may not register , But that's no HK for once a bit of gaming knowledge could save my life :)

Gaming knowledge saved my life a few times, if I hdnt spent my teens playing racing sims I'd have been upside down in a blazing inferno long before now <laugh>

Apparently that's a load of bollocks. There's been another "statement" from the CIRA saying it was nothing to do with them.

It's a turf war, simple as that. The Embassy Hotel hit was supposedly carried out by the Hutch gang in retaliation to the murder of Gary Hutch in Spain last year by the Kinahan gang. The guy that was killed wasn't the target, it was supposed to be Christy Kinahan's son, but he got out. Then the guy killed last night was Eddie Hutch, uncle of Gary and brother of Gerry "The Monk".
