Football journalist Henry Winter on Arsenal's quiet transfer window: "Karim Benzema realistically wasn't going to go to Arsenal when he has got Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale around him. But they could still have got a top class striker in."

At last! Some decent commentary on Arsenal's shambolic transfer window!

Pellegrini has claimed that his Man City side last season won the Title with more flair and style. You could say that it's hard to argue with that really, as the Chavs won this title scoring the least goals and having the least shots on target in PL history.

'It's important for the fans to play attractive football' is a phrase lost on the Mourinho. Park the bus 19th Century football is his style and whilst it might be effective, is Pelligrini is right that it lacks style and flair ?

How many goals do you think the title winners will get this season?

Are you suggesting that PIXIE might get "owned" yet again?

Make sure you bookmark it.

If Arsenal win the league, they are on course to be lowest scoring champs ever.
So far 37 goals from 24 games. At this rate they would finish on around 62 goals.

fewer goals than current champs Chelsea (72), the Invincibles (73) or 1998 double winners (67), for example

If they win the league as the lowest scoring champs ever, do you think their title defence will be as comically crap as Chelsea's has been this season?

They have to win it first.

This must be a very frustrating time for you, being banned from the Chelsea board before the United game.

Never mind Noel, you can troll me on the Premiership board.

OK fella, I'll rephrase my question.

Funnily enough life has continued to trot along since I was banned from the Chelsea board!

There have been times this season when I was concerned that you'd had a site ban but it turned out you were just hiding.

still unbeaten under hiddink 2nd time round, it's an improvement at least.... which can't be said for all teams that have changed managers mid season

Nah, it's more a case that both CFC and I share a common interest - a love of your comedy fcuk-ups.

Please keep 'em coming, Pixie.

If Spurs win it, then the only reference point we have is 2010-11.
So that suggests that they would finish at worst 5th (so not as "comically crap" ) .
