This year in England is a blip ... a one off.

next few seasons it will be Chelsea, City, United and Arsenal in the top 4 again, and again, and again, and again. The reality is it's only going to be these 4 that will realistically win the league.

Scottish football fans know we have an inferior competition but EPL isn't that great either.

And the EPL will get worse with the TV money increasing ...

Stoke spending 18m on some Porto player ... <laugh> for what, to finish 8th/9th

Watford spending 36m to finish 12th?

It's ****in mental.

In Scotland 3rd place is 14 points off the top and 4th 22 points off the top in the EPL 6th place is only 11 points behind with the top 4 vital places still up for grabs.

As I said, a one off season, in recent times, it's very rare for the EPL top 4 not to be the usual 4...

The goal is to win money in the EPL... no prestige, no titles, but money.

Doesn't pretty much all the Sky money just go on Celtic and Rangers every year ?

I'll repeat ... Scottish football fans know we have an inferior competition but EPL isn't that great either.

We deal with what we have. Hopefully with Celtic not growing, Rangers not being cash rich, Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs can make it more competitive.

This is true, look at my club Newcastle.Ashley just uses it as a giant billboard for Sports Direct and just spends enough to keep them there but it looks like it's backfiring this season even though they spent money this year it's a knee jerk reaction rather than a long term investment.

It never ceases to amaze me when people take the mickey out of Scottish football, thinking they are telling us something we don't already know.

As I always say, its not perfect but we do not bad for a wee country, we certainly don't compare our game to the EPL because that would be just ****ing stupid.

Spot on. There is no way the quality of product justifies the amount of money generated. I cannot get my head round why so many people in the far east etc. follow it religiously.
