Ian ""Moose"" Abrahams has been saying that for days. It wont happen as Palace cannot offload the deadwood and have just committed / spunked serious Wonga on Adebayor.
Is it me but why does Burnsy seam to cheer up when there's a possibility of a city transfer going tits up.
If I was buying the club I'd still want us to get promoted so I'd give him the money to buy a quality striker. Maybe the deal is "£100m if in the Premier League and £10m if in the Championship"!
If he's flogging us during this month, which seems to be what's happening, then it doesn't matter where we are in May. I don't believe there's two prices, if there was he'd be spending to improve his chances of getting the increased amount, everything points to us being sold now as a Championship club with a decent chance of promotion.
I know he has said its up for sale but I haven't seen any actual proof that it's in the process of being sold.
If, as some are saying, the deal to sell the club is virtually done perhaps the new owner might want to stump up a ****-load of his hard earnt dosh on a new striker?
If a new owner wanted to buy the club in time to invest in new players, he wouldn't be trying to do it on deadline day.
