Just an issue with Agent/s. Phelan knows Powell well. Thankfully Powell has been playing as a striker(no.9) for MU U'21s of late and both Warren Joyce and Ryan Giggs have said he looks the part. That is more than good enough for me. For sure Powell has more ability than Gray - Rhodes and McCormack. But Powell (if he signs) will be judged on goals and only goals as all strikers are.

Why haven't we gone in for Rhodes? Is it something to do with what happened during previous attempts?

And he's apparently on some kind of ridiculously high bonus and pay rise scheme - even if we had the dosh, why upset the whole dressing room by paying someone a lot more than anyone else?

However, Fulham have a transfer embargo on them and need both McCormack and Dembele to help stay in the championship. Fulham also have home matches against Derby(this sat) - Middlesboro and Burnley coming up. Both can help us by staying put.!!!!

I know we're not, but I don't think any sane person with a good grasp of risk/reward can get their head around it. If Hernandez is seriously injured I don't believe we'll be promoted.

 

Yep accepted, but he would get more for the club if it were in The Prem with stronger forecasted revenue streams
