To be honest I'm hoping we're going to be sensible for once and not chuck money at something for the sake of it - i.e. Offering anything more than 25mil for Tex.

My 3 ideals for this window would be -

    • Not sign Berahino.
    • Grab Tex for 25mil (not happening I know).
    • If we're not doing any business shut up shop and don't have some dude with a mic standing outside Melwood with a bunch of kids shouting.

We simply have to be patient and see this season as a chance to win a cup. Summer will be busy and Klopp will hopefully get a good pre-season with some new guys and we'll see what we're really made of going into next season.

Today may as well be a right off tbh. I do expect some awful business from some of the struggling clubs, Newcastle as per etc etc.

I see Everton have bought in some guy from Senegal (I think?). Paving the way for Man Utd to chuck 70mil at Lukaku? #bait

    No in's at all..
And by the sounds of it, no out's either...

Will give Klopp further time to assess the players and should give him a better idea (if he doesn't know already), who will work and who won't..
I'd like to see more of the youngsters that played well in the recent cup games get more first team time, not as if the current first teamers are setting the world alight!

Dwight Gayle for @ £10m is a steal. Dunno why we're not asking.

"Kasim has the potential to be a good Premier League standard midfielder, with consistent, if not outstanding, attributes across the range.

"He’s suited to a deep lying playmaker role, which could suit Swansea, with good stats for passing, composure, and decision-making.

"In FM, he generally enjoys a good, if unspectacular, career, but if consistency rather than brilliance is your thing, Kasim ticks the boxes."

We have asked Football Manager expert Alex Stewart - a man who is no stranger to snaffling bargains and spotting potential, all from the comfort of his own laptop on the popular computer game - to offer an alternative perspective on the transfer market.

don't worry guys we have a lad here that'll run any name through his latest copy of Football manager and tell you exactly what his scouts say.. then he'll make up **** about his career "usually" being solid by looking at the player history in his seaosn 2020/21 managing some prem club to 5 CL in a row.

I'm glad the BBC takes itself seriously.

So that makes it okay to throw 10mil at Dwight Gayle? <laugh>

    They'd want 25mil from us anyway <ok>

Pellegrini confirms he is leaving in the summer. That Guardiola bets off then.

Beat me to it. The funny thing is when Guardiola spends a lot of money, Sterling will find himself on the bench a lot!
