Metro and the Chronicle are both reporting that Bournemouth are going to offer us £5m for Defoe!

Allardyce, earlier this month said it would have to be a massive amount to let him go - guess £5m is a massive amount compared to the £9m we just spent on Khazri or the £21m offered by bthe mags for Berahino!! No idea how some of this ****e makes the press!

If you've got any sense you'll send them all the right signals, tell them he's on his way down and call them back at 10:55pm to say "Psyche!"

Think that's a great idea - just can;t see Defoe going with it - he seems to have a soft spot for his old clubs

Just a little bit more on that Danish striker Cardiff have signed,Kenneth Zohore. The Bluebirds are currently under a transfer embargo that prevents them from signing players for a fee, and paying loanees more than £10,000-a-week. However, owner Vincent Tan then got creative, buying Zohore for the other club he owns, Belgian side Kortrijk, from Odense earlier today. Then he was loaned to Cardiff. Easy aint it?

Sky Sports using Football Manager data to compare players FFS.

SSN 'Confirming' Sunderland not going to let Fletcher go as he's 'keen to keep hold of him' as well by the way... expecting Debuchy to move somewhere today but not convinced where yet. Wenger says he expects him to leave on loan today.

But Newcastle’s main target remains Saido Berahino and they have lodged an improved £25m bid for the West Brom forward after a £21m offer was rejected. West Brom’s resolve that Berahino will not be sold this month - and particularly not to a relegation rival appears about to be tested.

Steve McClaren’s board do have a Plan B though - and Chelsea’s Loïc Remy and Swansea’s Bafetimbi Gomis are two strikers who remain very much on the St James’ Park radar.

Doumbia signed and having medical.

They`re not messing about.

Its a wee bit like Britos (I think hes called) at Watford. A Watford supporter was telling me that Napoli wanted a Udinese player so that player got transferred to Napoli for a fee and Britos joined Watford on a free. The Watford owners also own Udinese and Granada.

Ighalo is another dodgy deal he joined Udinese who then loaned him to Granada he was there a few years - he was then loaned to Watford for a year and at the end of the loan Udinese cancelled his contract and he joined Watford permanently.

I think that EUFA or FIFA need to bring out a law that stipulates owners cannot own more than one club as this is p***ing all over the financial fair play - still the b**tards would find a loophole or some way round it.

Ellis needs to buy another club then. Obvious really. <ok>

Sunderland: Arsenal’s Mathieu Debuchy, Aston Villa’s Micah Richards and Swansea’ Bafetimbi Gomis are on Sam Allardyce’s last minute shopping list - but all appear long shots. Debuchy is the most wanted.

Meanwhile Sunderland are bracing themselves for a late £5m bid for Jermain Defoe from Bournemouth and could sell another striker, Steven Fletcher to Marseille.

We can hope.

Just can;t work out the logic - do they think "if we sign loads of attacking players, we'll score more than the opposition and win every game 6-5" as they've spent £100m ish this season and haven't improved their defence one bit!

BRISTOL City have been linked with a possible move for Sunderland right-back Adam Matthews.

Sources in the North East this morning claimed City are one of three Championship clubs considering making a deadline day move for the Wales international, who could be allowed to leave the Stadium of Light if the Premier League strugglers sign another right-back today.
