I think you can pretty much say your brother let you down big time. With all these new signings the icing on the cake would be Pearson named as manager.
That would be a fantastic bit of business.
Pearsons odds drifting away rapidly now.

very flawed argument .... they get a lot more than MOST players in the league .. and compensation can be construed as "transfer fee" a player can be sacked!.. at least 3 different ways .....As far as I can tell appointing a manger is a bigger gamble than signing a player. A manager does not cost a transfer fee does not get top player wages and can be sacked immediately so he is relatively inexpensive
there is no evidence they will not pay .. what was SC on ! .. picking a manager is not the simple thing of ok ..."top man, top wages, good track record ( if any but the top 10 can have such a thing) sign here..Is there any evidence that we wont pay for the right man or is it simply they don't want to come? At the end of the day they have a recruitment process and they must decide the best applicant. Appointing Pemeberton will tell us that nobody credible applied as while he may well a good in house applicant but he has no real managerial experience or track record.

I can't ask for any more - Pemberton
Isn't this exactly the same line that was offered by Cotterill ?
Yes you can ask for more. You can get the squad to stay another hour or two for SHOOTING PRACTICE
Then we will know where the bloody goal is
Cant ask for more my arse
But your hero SoD brought Pembo to the club are you saying he didn't know what a good coach was?Said before, pembo was part of the cotts management team,he could have influenced team selection, team set up but he went down the same route, week after week with cotts.
We need a manager with a different view to what cotts, pembo team set up was.
If SL goes down the cheap route once again, you really do have to think where does he want this club to go.Forward or backwards.
You would have thought after SL was bitten not once but twice,he would not want to be bitten a third time.
Lets see the appointment of a manager that has the credentials to take city forward, with the backing of his chairman.
That man in my opinion is one called Nigel Pearson.

But that was the case for countless good managers they've all started as assistant managers. Jose learnt his trade from the bottom at Porto and worked his way up. The guy at Derby was the same a good assistant but it took a club to take a gamble on him. Just because Millen and Tinnion failed, maybe third time lucky.I think he good be a decent coach, but manager no credentials to put on the table.
If Pemberton is given the job and we go down what then ?But that was the case for countless good managers they've all started as assistant managers. You are too quick to write people of without a chance, but when something was failing and looking dull and boring like sod you say he was hung out to dry. Pearson your new number one fad done it all with Leicester but I think at Hull he was ordinary. You my friend just jump on bandwagon if he was that great sone other club up north would come in for him but the haven't so surely that tells you something.
Steve CoppellWhy can't we sign up a quality, experienced, known name, we have had enough low priced options as managers ?
Because the Board want to do things on the cheap as per usual.
