The fee is undisclosed but I would wager that Reading paid more for him than Bournemouth did and there was no sell on clause by our incompetent management

Reportedly £500k, so a £50k profit, after he assisted them to the Premier League.

Well, it looks as if our earliest fears are coming true. The sum of our trading will be Johnson (!!!!!), a Diego Poyet transformed from the player we knew and loved, and Teixera, a good signing by all accounts. There's still time left, but it would appear the people who said not selling Watt would cut our Budget in the transfer window were right. Maybe Riga can offer something, but as yet,the transfer thread is about as dusty as a communication from the club.

It's absolute crap. We will probably still sell watt, and the official line from the club will be we still have the loan window.

They'll then proclaim signings are on hold until we know what division we are in. It's scary how some people are still giving them the benefit of the doubt "until may". Idiots.

Right on cue - Watt will be leaving, and on a loan deal again. So no money. Double whammy.

Nope - it's horrendous. They'll say in March they know mistakes were made blah blah blah.

    Spent £200k. Unbelievable

So we have signed a 17 year old CB/DM on loan till the end of the season. Reece Oxford from West Ham. A promising player by all accounts, but what the **** are these clowns playing at?

Moving Watt out on loan, so no money for the transfer market....interesting idea. Recce Oxford gets some praise on CL. My only issue is that he's very young and we've been flooded with inexperiencef academy players. Plus unless I'm mistaken, I read his best position is defensive midfielder. Errr..a bit like Poyet. And yet we move Watt out. Am I missing something obvious?

Oxford should be good business - but it can't be at the expense of watt. He and poyet are capable in the middle - but was it a position we need?

Nope. Welcome to Reece anyway. Could only have dreamed signing a player like that in August

PR disaster methinks. Who made the deal? Why was Riga not consulted until the last minute. No point in wasting precious funds on another player that won't make a difference going forward.

The present administration doing what they do best ...... ducking things up!

This deal was obviously arranged between the two female Chief Execs .... Karen say "I'll tell you what Katrien, we'll loan you Reece Oxford as long as he plays when fit" ......"Oh that would be a great help Karen thank you very much"

    Some time later

"Jose... I have agreed for us to loan 17 year old Reece Oxford from West Ham.... that will help won't it Jose"

I don' t really want to post this but there is an unconfirmed rumour (Colin) on CL saying that Vaz Te is going back to Turkey. So two strikers ( and I use the term very loosely) go out on the same day. I can feel a rant coming on but I' ll just write Roland Out and go back to watching the telly.

I wonder what the average time Charlton players are staying at the club? Eagles and Johnson lasted less then 4 months, Le Point again 6 months, Tudgay, Petrucci, Koc, Nego, Polish Pete, Tucadean, Onyewu, Etheridge and that other **** goalkeeper all had short spells. Ben Haim and Bikey only lasted a season. Vaz Te and Bergdich don't appear to be hanging around for much longer.

Vetokele went on record to say that he questions that stability of the club, surely this is just ridiculous and never ending. Oh to be a fan of another club during these desperate times.

So, Serge Gnabry latest on list on loan from Arsenal, perhaps JBG into the middle and Gnabry onto the wing?
