The links to Hernandez are interesting tbh. Saw his goals from this season so far and he looks idea, far more than just a penalty box poacher. He makes good runs off the shoulder and is pretty clinical in taking chances. Him running onto the through balls from Coutinho and Firmino with Ibe providing width could be deadly. He's got a knack of being in the right place at the right time too for knock ins - which is precisely what we don't have. We're way up the league with regards to chances created and way down the bottom on chances taken. We just need a finisher.

  • The pace, movement and trickery that marked Pato out as a special talent in his early years have declined as injuries have taken their toll. There are parallels with Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao in this respect.

We actually play this game at work... on conference calls you set an artist and have to try sneak in as many song titles into the conversation without anyone else knowing what's going on... makes boring conference calls a bit more interesting

Will we get anyone else this window? I highly doubt it. Nothing seems to be happening, little disappointed we didn't get Tex.

Benteke at least has scoring goals in his portfolio. <ok> There have been moments he's done good things. Balotelli accomplished nothing with us despite a lot of time.

I've never rated him, even at city when he was banging goals in regularly.

I don't and never bought into the "he could be a great" bollox, he was never going to be great, he hasn't the right mentality or thirst to achieve.

Worse buy than Carroll, up there with aquilliani.

Septic player can't wait til we're shot of him.

Not a surprise to me that tbh, Firmino could get more than his 13lge goals this season.

I've pointed out the false claim that he was good at Man City before but it fell on deaf ears. Couldn't be arsed to repeat it constantly.
