I've no idea why Crouch keeps being discussed, not only is he on £90k a week, but he won't drop to the Championship either, might as well discuss signing Remy.
No, he's a donkey. I merely used Crouch as an example of an experienced striker I'd prefer to see us sign ahead of Bamford, if there is actually anything in that Bamford rumour.
Norwich look favourites, it seems he wants a Premier League move, but I'd be more than happy with him coming in, we'll not get anyone better.
Not that we are likely to ever sign a player of his quality. He's got a career record of 1 in 4 (league), mostly in the top flight and has totalled career transfer fees in excess of £43m Crouch is anything but a donkey.
Ridiculous. His record this season is 2 goals in 10 games, but he's only started about 4 of those. He might've gone down the pecking order at Stoke, but he's still a very capable player. He can easily get double figures, he does nearly every season.
I wouldn't. I'd sell Huddlestone if anything at this point. I still think he's a good player but he's not needed here evidently. Anything north of £4 million and we should sell him and put the money towards a striker.
Haven't heard that for a while, but no doubt now that Palace have signed Adebayor, the FC rumours will resurface
Agree to disagree. Last time I saw him play he looked past it. If he was a free transfer and wages weren't an issue I'd say we should sign him but not a permanent or loan move with us paying a significant chunk of his 90 grand wage packet every week. Much prefer Bamford.
