Yes, is definitely nice to hear, and important for the younger generation to know, but it is like stating oxygen is important. He is so far ahead of even the closest competitor, it barely warrants mention by a commentator. Mark Hughes is the second best, but Ron would possibly struggle to see him in the distance, down to his struggles at Barcelona and his lack of any international success (through no fault of his own, of course).

EDIT: didn't realise how long ago this discussion was - all been said already.

Been through a spate of episodes of late. I'd forgotten that it was pretty good. T'Pol is cuter than I remembered. :)

I loved Enterprise...even have some seasons on DVD...but got really cross when they killed off Trip. The series was finishing....why do that?

The final episode is rightly considered as awful. And yeah, Trip may have been a plonker occasionally, but he was all heart.

Dr Phlox was my favourite character. They were all pretty good though.

Generally have a healthy diet...but ridiculous to deny yourself everything. Haven't given up cheese...people who give up dairy risk thin bones. Balance is everything.

Me too. Met "Malcolm" at a convention and he was really lovely. Seemingly the Malcolm and Trip actors (can't remember their names and can't be bothered to look them up) were a real hoot when they were at cons together but I never saw them on stage.

Good to know you're generally looking after yourself. I had to give up cheddar cheese as it was giving me tremendous indigestion. Non-cheddared or simple cheese is fine, but I decided to eat less cheese overall anyway. I eat practically none now. The mayonnaise consumption has definitely risen as an indirect result.

I remember you telling me this a couple of years back...... I may end up down the same road, but I just don't know if I could give up cheese.

Yes, I remember that. I thought so too about cheese. But when you get heartburn and acid reflux that bad you don't miss cheese. Acid reflux is really awful. I still get the odd bit of indigestion once in a while, but that's been down to indulging myself ridiculously. No cheese, no big deal.

This is interesting for anyone trying to lose weight. New research being done in Israel which may mean we can all eat chocolate and ice cream :emoticon-0137-clapp

Cause varies with people....meat and chocolate late in the day does it for me. Have no problem with cheese. Do you remember how annoying old people were when they used to say, 'I love chocolate/onions/cheese (delete as applicable), but it doesn't like me.' What a load of moaners we all thought, but it gets us all in the end. My only consolation as I watch kids stuff down burgers etc is....just you wait, it will happen to you. :)
