You are young. Don't forget to enjoy it because it's a temporary condition. And don't listen to all that bollocks about life beginning at 40 or whatever. Your 20s are the best years so work hard and play hard cos later on you won't be able to.
That's true that it's best to live life to the full in your 20's, but life begins whenever you just bloody well decide it does. I find that what really hits me more than anything these days is events or circumstances that only appear to have happened a couple of years ago are actually 3, 4 or more times longer ago than I recollected.
The most recent incidence of that was while watching an episode of Star Trek Enterprise and suddenly realising that, when it was first broadcast, Saints had just gone 4th in PL and had beaten Tottenham 4-0 in the FA Cup, with WGS managing the squad. The Lowe era was in full swing.![]()
That 4-0 win vs spurs was only a couple of years ago wasn't it?
He didn't manage to recognize the importance of the most talented player this country had when he played in the same team as him![]()

Just put a tenner on Koeman being next PL manager to leave at 16/1.
Koeman's my code word for Van Gaal. How's that looking, Tom?

Just ploughed through this thread. Looked at from this end of three straight wins it looks really... well... plain weird.

There's folk chatting about seeing Ron Davies hit four v utd, I'm not sure the world was in colour then. I think that's one of the reasons of what makes the forum the best on here, is the wide range of ages. Along with Saints being a great club to chat about.
I noticed Adam Blackmore mention Ron Davies as a legendary Saints CF, putting 4 past ManU at OT, to Ronald on Saturday in his post match interview. I was dying for Ronald to say something back as to some sort of recognition, but how would he know? He would have been a pip-squeak toddler at the time of Ron's era, and fame didn't travel anywhere near as easily as it does these days.
Don't know if this was already posted.
