Manchester City defender Eliquim Mangala is a transfer target ofStandard Liege, according to Belgian publication Voetbal Nieuws

odd 1

Roma striker Gervinho has signed with China's Hebei Fortune, the team said Tuesday, the latest European-based star to be lured east by the increasingly wealthy Chinese Super League

another odd 1

hmmmm... no they don't they lash it at goal...

its completely wrong to say this cos they have EACH OTHER to pass to and they failed bar one game against an awful city defense to do it.

Klopp needs more but he needs to start with the 3 players

We've seen Coutinho's ability to play a quick pass throughout his LFC career. His passing ability is clear to see.

And Firmino plays a lot of one touch football.

Most of them miles away from anyone including firmino etc.

Coutinho lallana and lie need to go do a lot more.

Firmino needs to be consistent now and prove his arsenal goals are his level... Norwich Not so much but added together they need to be a start of a run for him.

Saw this on the Sky Transfer News site:

BALE 'SCARED OFF' FROM UNITED

Gareth Bale was "scared off" from a £100m move from Real Madrid to Manchester United in the summer, according to the Independent.

The national newspaper report the Welshman was persuaded against moving to Old Trafford by Rafa Benitez, who was sacked earlier this month.

The state of uncertainty at Manchester United was thought to be the reason Bale did not seriously consider a move back to the Premier League.

My highlighting on the middle paragraph.

Look these south American guys all look to Spain. I think it's fair enough.

If they say nice things after going fine... did they give the effort while here yes. In the end I can't see a rangers v celtic type debate in it all that much cos sure Suarez would have joined arsenal if we agreed but we knew his aim was real Madrid not arsenal when he asked to go

Like Klopp says what do they think when I left not when I arrived..... mcmanaman and Owen left badly, mascherano and Suarez left pretty ok cos you don't expect them to turn down Spain.

The reality is despite the blatant real biased tax bullshit Spain offers hugely more attractive tax regime to these guys.

English clubs can pay 2 or 300k per week by the taxman takes as much as possible out of it. Real and barca can compete with them all day long.

yup of those we've missed......... jesus only willian is actually a success really.

mkhitaryan hasn't been all that in germany, salah is a nightmare, ramirez was useless and costa has blown up big time. can't run..... so who knows.

are we just picking ****e and the worst of the lot come and the other ****e joins others.

Mkhitaryan's done well, especially the last year or so.

We were also pipped by Spurs to Soldado. <ok>

here is a complete rumour

Come back home to @AVFCOfficial you know it makes sense @chrisbenteke we still love you and you'll play every game before euro16 [HASHTAG]#avfc[/HASHTAG] [HASHTAG]#utv[/HASHTAG]

Villa fans seem to be thinking villa might get benteke back on loan..... hmmm that would be like LFC... loan the only fit stiker away to make room for the returning balotelli

however it would reflect very poorly on benteke's attitude.

...............

and that's my comments on this very much left field rumour.

I like the way her arm goes throught the chain link fence and seems to allow one of the cross posts to pass through it

Very poor photoshop <ok>

Your powers of observation are poor Diego, its obvious she's standing not only lower than him but further forward which shows there is a gap between the fencing he's leaning over and the fence she's leaning on.<whistle>

dunno... don't know enough about him. history of players coming from russia is they need a step up in fitness so I think they should look to get him in summer.

Don't agree. Sign him now for next season. Gives him six months to prepare, and he's a option from the bench if needs must in the mean time.
