Sunderland offered 10m and Borini for Ayew. Interesting, wonder if other clubs higher up might be interested in taking a punt on him.

We have to trust the Scouts and advisors. None of us know if he's good enough and every transfer is a risk. It's clear that Klopp thinks that area need more quality so we best sort it out and get him signed.
Suarez played in a poor Dutch league before signing for us.

Because a) we offer stupidly long an expensive contracts to our players and b) we hang onto them for far too long. Agger and Reina are prime examples.

Wow. I'm actually in awe. Great point.

Furthermore - there are plenty of examples of players in **** leagues who are good players.

Tex has played centrally for the past year and a bit but prior to that, he played on the wing for majority of his career.

Even if he plays centrally, no problem because it means firm can continue as the false 9 where he has done a very good job.

Agreed we need width but we still need quality. Firmino/Coutinho having someone else on their wavelength will only benefit the team regardless of the position.

  9. Get a quality striker and their assist levels (just as good) will improve drastically. Plus, a quality striker would be more concerning for opposition defences therefore creating more time and space for our existing AM.

I'm not against Tex, he's a quality player, and as you should all know by now I'd rather win 5-4 than 1-0 too. I just think there are more pressing priorities.

don't think it will cos they rarely deliver quick ball.

I just don't think they are all that... hence the bid for a new one.

I mean seriously if we keep the guys we have and add any one of the 10 or so world class strikers we'll be wonder how come they can't score i think.

the reality is harry redknapp spoke his mind then went oh **** did i say that... we are indeed bang average all round the park.

Klopp will i think sign a whole new spine of his team... not at GK though <whistle>

Expect a CB, CM, ACM and benteke to stay of course.... <laugh> If teixteria is the guy he wants fine. lets get it on and if not then fine lets move on.... but lets not kid ourselves than anyone in the first 11 is good enough.

Mr firmino has shown he can score, now go do it over consistent weeks and we will all be very happy. That could be one of an 11 if he can find that consistency and speed of thought deeper.

Firmino and Coutinho do play quick balls though - they play on instinct. Problem is, they have no one to pass to.

We've needed a new keeper, RCB and DM for ages - hopefully Klopp brings them in.
