Surely Bale would have the right to turn Spurs down though, despite what the legal document says? So whilst RM, hypothetically speaking, accept a bid say from Man Utd and Spurs, Bale has the right to choose Man Utd should he wish to?

Possibly, but I dunno what the point of the clause would be if that's the case. Plus, why would he want to do that?

No disrespect to Man U, but I don't see it happening. I actually think we are the only prem club he'd wanna play for, and I don't really see him coming back here either.

All of that warm sunny weather? To came back to this cold grey nonsense??

Could be an "act in haste, repent at leisure" contract signing (more so given the time line) .
But I suspect that unless you could prove undue duress, a judge will say that ALL THREE
parties signed in sound mind and with time to do due diligence.

A defeat for Chelsea on Sunday could spell disaster for them. At the beginning of the season I noticed that Spurs were drawing but in those draws they were knocking on the door of victory each time being unlucky. Chelsea on the other hand are snatching draws from the jaws of defeat i.e. Baggies and Everton. Lose on Sunday especially heavily and their season will shatter.

  5. Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has spoken to Barcelona forward Lionel Messi, 28, about the positives of the city. (Sky Sports)

That must have taken a good couple of minutes.

Sadly Pool are winning. The worst thing will be hearing the punters get back on the Pool for top 4 bandwagon.

    Edit:
1-1. I'll shut up until after the match.

    Appalling defending by the centre-half.
Miles off where he should've been.
Played Firmino onside when he should've been off by about two yards.

Idiot Mason ignoring one of the most obvious shoves in the back you're likely to see. The standard of refereeing doesn't get any better!

"Liverpool look like the mid-table side that they are."
    Brave commentary, despite it's accuracy.

Just watched the second Norwich goal again in slow motion. Naismith shouldn't have beaten the keeper from that angle. But, it is Mingeolay! ( you know, the guy they just gave a new contract to!). <laugh>

I hope there really was the amount of added on time that Liverpool scored the winner in.

  19. You've got to hand it to Leicester, they beat the teams that could have proven to have been potential banana skins. Currently two-up against Stoke.
