Great saving tackle by Perch, perhaps he has re-discovered his form under JFH?

After a great cross from Perch which Polter was close to adding a 2nd, we have gone half asleep.

It seems that Konchesky is getting skinned just about every time by van La Parra.

Konch having bit of a mare?

Rajiv van la Parra is the only Wolves player causing problems, he's beating Konchesky all day long but it's good covering by the QPR defenders to stop his cross.

Interesting stat from the commentator on bein sport. Us and Wolves are the worst 2 teams at holding onto leads, if both clubs had won the games we've lead in we'd be 2nd in the league and Wolves would be 3rd.

Somebody has been reading this board.....

Looking at him, I don't think Sebastian Polter's the most technically gifted player in the world, but he isn't getting ideas above his station. Danny Batth will know he's been in a game. He's causing so many more problems than Le Fondre is.

The goal aside, a pretty uninspiring half. Atmosphere seems as flat as a pancake unsurprisingly...

La Parra has been their only threat, doing Konch for speed but only a couple of times. Perch, Ned, Longo, Fer and especially Polter have looked our best for me.

A much more attacking formation. TV had it as 4-2-3-1, but it's a fluid 4-3-3, with Fer and Luongo ahead of Henry. Polter, Phillips and Hoilett are a front three interchanging positions. Fer seems a little wasted drifting out to the left the way he is.
This does leave some space in the middle, but it is the more attacking line up that people have been asking for, with the energy of Luongo in the centre. I'd like to see Faurlin in place of Henry, but I'm not sure JFH rates him.

A scrappy game, which is pretty much what you'd expect from a mid-table Championship clash. Rangers are pressing well and high which is good. Hopefully we can get a second, as I can't see us keeping a clean sheet.
Onuoha and Hall look good and the fullbacks are better, particularly Perch.

Great header from The big Austrian!

Mignolet, having just signing a long term contract, looking dodgy as Naismith scores to put Norwich 2-1 up. Perhaps Klopp should sign Rob Green to keep him honest?.
