Good morning chaps and chappesses (is there such a thing) I've made the leap. Just popped in to see how you are all getting on but I feel a bit like I'm cheating on the missus posting here and not on Auntie Beeb. Lol Looks like Muntari is in the bag barring any disastrous personal terms (where are all the craas who said this wouldnÃÆÃâÃâ ââ¬â¢ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃââÃÆÃâÃââÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâìÃÆÃâÃââÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¾ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâât happen) and Sessegnon is on Sky Sports website declaring his excitement at joining the lads as well so that one looks like it will eventually see out its course (what is it with SAFC and long drawn out transfers - unless its Judas of course). Now the attention turns to a striker and the latest is Rodellega? I'm not sure but did Brucie sign this lad for Wigan or not? He would be a far superior choice to the likes of Fuller and Boothroyd but in all honesty, I canÃÆÃâÃâ ââ¬â¢ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃââÃÆÃâÃââÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâìÃÆÃâÃââÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¾ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâât see Wigan in a relegation scrap selling their best striker? It would be suicidal if they did. That said, I am looking forward to seeing the new lads and playing Chelski next Tuesday in this remarkable season for us. Liverpool look like they are getting their act together but by all accounts were very lucky v Fulham. We still have them to play yet and that could end up being a critical match for both clubs. IsnÃÆÃâÃâ ââ¬â¢ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃââÃÆÃâÃââÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâìÃÆÃâÃââÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¾ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâât it bloody great though to be talking about challenging the footballing elite in the EPL and Liverpool for a place in Europe instead of worrying about the bottom end of the league? ThatÃÆÃâÃâ ââ¬â¢ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃââÃÆÃâÃââÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâìÃÆÃâÃââÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¾ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãââs a first for me following SAFC in the last 4 decades as even under Reidy, we were clinging onto 7th spot not challenging 5th?
At last cest, the family now feels complete. Welcome mate, I know this takes a little getting used to but it really is a good site, hope you enjoy and stay around.
Couldn't agree more with the thrust of your post. I'm not that concerned about an out and out striker being added, becasue I still think we can play more effectively in a 4-3-2-1 (Yeah its Christmas again!) but agree Rodellega would be a better acquisition than some we've been linked with. Exciting times!
Everytime i go on the 606 now its full of barcodes swearing to try to get banned. The banter has gone right down as everyone is here. Hardly check the 606 anymore, not worth it.
Hi Cest mate and welcome, nice to see you here eventually. I said earlier Liverpool don't worry me anymore. Couple of good players and even now riding their luck. Even less if Torres goes to Chelsea. (But then he could be in the Chelsea team we play )
Afternoon cest & all, I've been wondering all week why these transfers are taking so long! Anyone got any upto date info on we'll have confirmation? Don't wanna be do impatient but really excited by the pedigree of these two. As for Rod from Wigan I'd have him here in a flash though dealing with Whealen so close to deadline day will be difficult!!!
Welcome and yip absolutely brilliant to looking up rather than discussing relegations battles etc. I can actually enjoy my weekends and not worry about ranting to the family after each game.
Glad you made the leap, Cest. Your post is the first mention of "craas" on this site AFAIK. Made me think of a new sig line in honour of our Ghana brotherhood: Have you ever seen a craa in Accra Not sure if it has legs!
Good to be here fellow mackems and 'craa' opponents. Time to put the cat amongst the b&w pigeons. What must it be like for supporters of other clubs that are linked to no-one this transfer window, nee bugger, zilch, nada..............diddly squat!!!!! Not even an unheard of unknown loan player. Squat. Sully Muntari here at the SOL for a medical and to sign the contracts. Stephane Sessegnon chomping at the bit to get a Red & White shirt on and now 3 or 4 strikers mentioned as cover for our Ghanaian World Cup Star Forward? As a forward thinking and progressive football club in the top 6 of the EPL, there can now be absolutely no doubts as to who wears the trousers in the NE football household. Sunderland AFC = top cats of the NE football scene. Unquestionable FACT. Haway the Lads PS - How can I post a profile picture lads.
Concur with Syd, the rear guard members of 606 now seem to have made the journey over! However anyone seen / heard from MrRAWhite?
I'm sure he's joined up, but it was when the first big surge came over from 606. With every one just swearing he got bored with it - I'm sure he posted that in the other place
