Bolton need money. Bolton have Amos. Amos used to play for us. Amos has played under Steve Bruce. Amos knows the City. Amos knows the club. We're after a foreign keeper. Amos is a Hebrew name. Hebrew is foreign. It also sounds like a manly cup of tea. It's blatently Ben Amos.

So they are, they went bankrupt at the end of the season. Guess it's not him then. Although I think he's still on trial, decent free transfer if we can get him.

I agree. Though if we do sign this Icelander, will he progress in our famed academy or will he go the same way Oxley and Cracknell went, making a grand one first team appearance between them? Rory Watson probably won't get a game for us before being released and signing for a League 2 club.

Oxley is really highly thought of at Hibs <laugh>

I have a feeling we may get Crouch on loan if they don't get past Liverpool in the League Cup semi. Just the sort of striker Brucey wants. May well be on the deadline though.
