It was ****ing ridiculous, I got the ok off Comm and Bri to cause a bit of trouble and everybody started ****ting their knickers.

I was hoping it'd end up like Jeremy Kyle, just keep adding more and more chairs to the stage. Then a Royal Rumble.

Guys - apologies don't often come on this thread so just noticed these. Thanks for your thoughts - was actually just on my way back from UK at the time so missed it. Seems like we dodged a bullet here as they found 6 un-exploded bombs afterwards.
Now on high alert for further attacks and the Indonesian Government security advice to residents - stay away from expats and places where expats gather as they are the preferred targets! Nothing like making you feel welcome in their country.

Not sure if I was meant to laugh but couldn't help it.

Don't worry Imperialist One we all lov..., well we all get on wi...well we quite lik...

:emoticon-0138-think

Give me some time I'll get back to you on this one.

<cheers>

I used to love the Royal Rumble when I was a kid. They do love a good infight over there. I do pop in now and again to see what is happening. They seem to have their own little family going, and you get all the different personalities, tantrums etc. Then there are a select few friends like Terry, Haslam, QWOP allowed into the inner sanctum - with banter eventually tolerated. To be honest I used to like it over there in the early days with Comm, MR, Gonads, Rog etc. It was a good laugh. I don't have the same connection with those that post now so don't really bother much since I got banned for tag-gate. That was an incredibly immature venture <laugh>

I still say the leaving threads are just legendary. They just do it better than anyone else. So many of them are so invested in forum life that a real flood of passion and emotion comes out. Songs the lot. We've had a few threaten leaving lately, its all been done with whimper. Like a 50 stone drunk floundering to find his flaccid button cock beneath the rolls of fat (sorry Obi no offence).

Does Cestria still post? I'll never forget his leaving rant. When he returned not long later, he did well to overcome the ribbing.

Not seen Cest in a while, he seemed to thrive on negativity according to Bri and Smug and probably others that won't speak up... they took exception to the way he always had a half empty cup. I dunno if I'd do the same, it's not my team so his negativity never bothered me, I always found him quite entertaining.

I think this board would be similar in a way, if you all started meeting up on regular occasions. They've developed a pack mentality as many of them are close mates and fight each other's battles, often it's admirable other times it's just pointless. I think anybody is tolerated on there to a certain extent as long as they're clever with the wumming, Cardew was no'1 wum over there, he was expert at it and that's why I think he got away with it, as it was often way too clever and funny to just ridicule.

There's some clever, funny lads over there and some insane nuggets which I think adds to the comedy value... if there's nothing funny happening on that board it's boring as ****, the football threads rarely have anything interesting in them until somebody kicks off. Smug, as much as you lot never got along with him, he was outstanding at starting fires, some of the best threads come from him starting fires.

To be fair to Smug I remember him from the old BBC606 days, he spent endless time wumming the Newcastle one on there. He was successful at getting bites too. There was one Everton fan and one Boro fan though who just took wumming to a different level. They were like part of the furniture. Boro Gully and David Moyes Wife. David Moyes Wife just used the old "you all foolishly worshipped Kevin Keegan the quitter" routine. When it got tiresome we just used to post our favourite recipes and he'd know it was time to go, then return the next day. When I changed my username to David Moyes Wife on here for a laugh, it struck the fear of god into a few who remembered him. You could see them thinking, "I don't know if I have the energy or enough recipes for this twat!"

There are some who bore me with the constant whining, or who seem to be on some righteous crusade. Just chill out, all this being serious and insisting everybody is "real" behaving as they do outside of cyber world is not very much fun. There is no need to go running to mods, or getting upset over personal insults. People get a bit childish? So what, there are more important things in real life.

Man, I've ****ing had some spats on here... I've taken on Smug and Bri countless times and Tobes, Relic, Comm, Billy, one off here Sam I think, JPF, Rooch... I don't hold a grudge with any of them, and get on with them all just fine now, some of them more than others... well apart from Relic, he has to have me on ignore and I don't respond to his posts. It's not the place to be if you're gonna take everything seriously.

Some never move on, some decide they just don't like posters and thats that, some try but its always there bubbling under the surface. I think the latter are my favoured variety. People try to get on for the good of harmony on the board but you just know at some stage someone is gonna blow <laugh> Whether that is because they just don't mix well or one has felt wronged by the other in some way, it always comes back round eventually.

I think the trick is to save the best insults for the right people. The only person I really insult on here is you, mainly because I know you're a big enough **** to take it (and also know that you know deep down that you are a **** so just think 'fair enough'). In return you know you can insult me because I am so reasonable that no matter what you throw at me I will just shake my head, forgive you and move on. Sadly, not everyone is as big a **** as you or as nice as me.

Yeah, Comm and Smug had that... they convinced us that they were getting on great, but there was always something, waiting to snap.

Comm gets on his balcony with his ****ty ****ing Samsung phone and all hell breaks loose, it was inevitably gonna come crashing back down.

I like the both of them though, both great blokes.

Yeah we've had a few on here who try to get on but then it usually kicks off. Its normally when someone doesn't get Chaos's unique brand of humour <laugh>

He's your Billy isn't he?

I wonder if that's gonna get me into trouble <laugh>

He's more like our Comm.

John Humbles Tape Recorder would probably be our Billy, I'm our Sid (the boring PC one who talks nothing but sense), and Gerrez and Biscan are fighting it out to be our Typical Wazza (resident alien).

Sadly we don't have a Bri. Nobody has a Bri!!!

Thanks for that, that's much nicer than my job description on the SAFC board.... "Resident Manc ****".

Bri is everybody's to share. <ok>

I've known Comm a long time cyber wise, and I think even he would struggle to have that alter ego. Chaos is just different. Only person I've had to tell never to send me a PM like that again <laugh>

Comm loves a PM, he's always sending me poetry, I think he's got a man crush.
