What, you mean as opposed to posting the same thing three times in as many days?!

It's a development in the story though. About Palace potentially paying a fraction of the £100k per week that Danny is giving him not to play for you.

It's a non story that you feel gives you the opening to bring up another non story that you've tried to resurrect twice before already.

Adebayor ceases to be our player, or responsibility, at the end of this month. Probably why he's currently looking for another pension top-up.

That's the point though. He's already ceased to be your player, but you're still paying him. According to all the reports its £100k per week until the summer, unless another club pay a portion of his wages if they sign him up in the winter.

  7. Pixie, you really do have no idea how employment contracts work, do you?

Are you prepared to accept that, out there in the grown-up world of commerce, high-paid employees can be relieved of their employment by mutual consent on termination provisions that include payment of an agreed settlement figure by way of instalments?

Is that concept so alien to you that it takes you by surprise every time you read about it?

What is genius about it, is that Adabeyor clearly would have wanted all of his cash up front, on day one, but Levy clearly told him and his grasping agent to "do one" (like he told Peace, who wanted paying for Berahino up front). All you are doing, is continually highlighting Levy's incredible financial and economic wizardry.

Your wumming is about as piss-poor as anything I have ever seen - and I saw the Krankies at Butlins, when I was a kid!

<laugh> I understand it alright. Although NSIS seems to be having a bit of difficulty understanding the terms of the severance deal.

The fact that you think levy paying him £100k per week potentially until the summer is 'financial wizardry' tells me how much of a hot shot lawyer you must be.

That is unless you think his wizardry is making money disappear into thin air ? <laugh>

I think Argos only charge you until you paid for the item. Not £100k per week for another year. And to be honest a Toaster is probably more useful than Adebayor anyway.

It's not just a severance deal, as such. Adebayor himself has said that agreement has been reached to terminate his contact. It's you, for your usual infantile Wum purposes, who chooses to believe what your chosen newspapers say, rather than what both the player and the club say.

I really have wasted enough time on your idiocy. I have a trip to plan - I suggest you, instead of indulging your needy behaviour, make that appointment with the psychotherapist you apparently so desperately need to see!

Calm down petal  I understand that the contract has been terminated, what I think you're failing to grasp is that as part of that termination there has been a severance deal which includes full payment of his wages until this summer (or until another club come in and pay a proportion of it) It's not just one or two newspapers saying it either, it's also some of your own club's fan sites. Are you able to provide some evidence as you suggest from the club, that this isn't the case ?

I've provided several sources that all say that is the case, also a programme on Radio 5 live were saying it was the case. True it might not be 100% accurate, but nobody seems to be disputing it with any credible counter claims. It seems plausible too. Adeybayor did something similar before with Man City where they paid some of his wages whilst he didn't play for them. If Levy told Adebayor that he was terminating his contract, then it's normal practice to have some kind of severance deal. It looks as though his agent has managed to negotiate a good deal where he has his wages paid in full until the summer (barring another club paying some of them if they sign him up)

    So you don't, then?
I can see it being the case, but there's no actual evidence for it, just claims.

I'd have thought that any club signing him would have to pay a significant chunk of his wages or they just wouldn't do it.
If the contract stated that anything that they paid would reduce Tottenham's payments, then they'd pay him nothing.

And what evidence do you have to substantiate your claims? The answer is none!

As far as I'm concerned, termination of contract is exactly that. Adebayor says so, The club says so.

I've provided links to several sources who all say it's the case.
You claim Spurs say otherwise, so do you have any evidence to support this claim ?

I'm not disputing that the contract has been terminated, that's what I said initially, the point though is the terms of the severance deal.

Sources that say just what you want to hear!...so, once again, your evidence is none!?
