I’ve always found that the bigger the chav the more ‘o’s’ in your boom! Similarly, the bigger the toff the more ‘r’s’ you roll when pronouning the fine old Georgian city of ‘Bath’ – e.g. ‘I’m going to Barrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrth on Saturday’.

Stick, there is only one ‘O’ in my Posh.

What, do we think about Reve De Sivola going back over fences after 4 years on Saturday, people?!? He’s 21 lbs lower over the big ‘uns but it will be tough for the 11YO to readjust.

Poor decision with a capital P. I remember him being quite close to Peddlers Cross as a novice hurdler and was pretty excited when they first decided to go chasing with him. But he never looked at home over fences and I am mystified as to why they are trying again at this late stage - he owes them absolutely nothing and really ought to be heading for a nice retirement.

Rupert Boy 2.20 Southwell not the most inspiring form but im hoping the step up to 7f suits enough to progress to the winners enclosure around 10/1...Ayr 2.35 Vinny Gambini 8/1 really well weighted must have a great chance if finds sufficient improvement for seasonal reappearance.
On the f*****n nod !!16/1

Another big day for me today, could shape my short term future; sometime around 2ish, I will know !!! :emoticon-0126-nerd:

So, let's not drop the baton and focus on the most important things.
Im interested in

Danish Duke 1.10@Southwell ( though Napolean Solo could be the danger )

and

Cinder Rua 12.55 @Ayr

If they return something, then I can have a look down the cards, if not then I'm just watching; fingers crossed.

Phew!
That's my short term future secured,no redundancy, no moving to a third party company.
I must do something they like ...
Now, I suppose I'd best do some work.
Yay!

(long odds winner anyone, to celebrate?)

Place double and singles suffice for today...

Sober Up 5/1 Southwell 4:00 - is an interesting runner here on handicap debut. Stepping up in trip from a mile to 12 furlongs here could possibly see the horse in better light and he may be able to exploit an opening mark of 45. Ivan Furtado is doing ok since the start of the year sending out 2 winners from 8 runners and has had a nice winner at this track in Zaeem recently too. Slight mover in the early market so fingers crossed.

A slightly more speculative wager also on Mac Tiernan 40/1 Southwell 1:45 - this horse has had 3 runs recently since returning from a 2 year absence and has dropped down 11lbs for those 3 efforts and now races off a winnable mark off 54. Mac Tiernan has had 5 wins from 31 starts and those wins all came in around the low to mid 50's. Small win bet, I'm cautiously optimistic they must be seeing some signs to carry on with this lad so if it's not tomorrow he should have his day reasonably soon.

All the best folks.

2 no shows. I'm still going to follow Mac Tiernan in the near future for any signs of a move, he has to strike if he falls much more in the handicap. The Furtado one put in a no show and the drift all morning told it's own story.
