Off topic but I think a guaranteed profit. I'm going to back every one of Rafael Nadals opponents in the Australian Open until he loses. Today's bet. Vedasco 13-2. Win bet (I know Ive put an unfortunate article about his suspicious betting patterns on Mondays thread but there we go).

Additionally the following is a nice 5-1 accumulator
2.35 Ayr UN NOBLE 9-4 (in an accumulator with Cilic, Raonic, Kyrgios, Federer, Halep, Anderson).
Lots of nice money to be made in the early rounds of the Australian Open when the top 20 don't lose the best of 5 set matches (Halep is best of 3 but won't lose).

Sober Up 5/1 Southwell 4:00 - is an interesting runner here on handicap debut. Stepping up in trip from a mile to 12 furlongs here could possibly see the horse in better light and he may be able to exploit an opening mark of 45. Ivan Furtado is doing ok since the start of the year sending out 2 winners from 8 runners and has had a nice winner at this track in Zaeem recently too. Slight mover in the early market so fingers crossed.

A slightly more speculative wager also on Mac Tiernan 40/1 Southwell 1:45 - this horse has had 3 runs recently since returning from a 2 year absence and has dropped down 11lbs for those 3 efforts and now races off a winnable mark off 54. Mac Tiernan has had 5 wins from 31 starts and those wins all came in around the low to mid 50's. Small win bet, I'm cautiously optimistic they must be seeing some signs to carry on with this lad so if it's not tomorrow he should have his day reasonably soon.

All the best folks.

Rupert Boy 2.20 Southwell not the most inspiring form but im hoping the step up to 7f suits enough to progress to the winners enclosure around 10/1...Ayr 2.35 Vinny Gambini 8/1 really well weighted must have a great chance if finds sufficient improvement for seasonal reappearance.

Another big day for me today, could shape my short term future; sometime around 2ish, I will know !!! :emoticon-0126-nerd:

So, let's not drop the baton and focus on the most important things.
Im interested in

Danish Duke 1.10@Southwell ( though Napolean Solo could be the danger )

and

Cinder Rua 12.55 @Ayr

If they return something, then I can have a look down the cards, if not then I'm just watching; fingers crossed.

And just to keep things in perspective;

Wow! World No. 133 Zhang Shuai sends No. 2 seed Simona Halep packing with a convincing 6-4 6-3 victory [HASHTAG]#AusOpen[/HASHTAG]

No such thing as "easy money" when it comes to gambling!

Yep obviously used all my luck up on the first bet of a 13-2 shot beating a 1-14 on shot lol

Ooooooooooh ! Matron !
Nice start ...
Can I say ..... boom?

I wonder if Ayr might throw up some ridiculous results today in the Scottish mud.

The guided long shots are:

1.25 ORIONININVERNESS 50/1 ew- Brian Boru horse in the mud up in trip for hurdle debut. Tongue tie applied so some improvement could be forthcoming.

2.35 KILMAINHAM 12/1 was disputing the lead at the last LTO and goes off a low weight here and may be overpriced for compensation.

3.05 DULHALLOWCOUNTRY & GLEN GYLE 22/1 & 33/1

A step forward from reappearance would give Glen gyle place claims and the tiny bit of money for DULHALLOWCOUNTRY this morning makes me wonder if Thompson fancies this at a price.

4.15 HIGGS BOSON 14/1 drops in trip and pieces of best form are at Ayr- as his most of his trainers form- Jim Goldie!

All e/w
