I'm pretty sure Alexis Sanchez was a regular when he was sold to Barcelona, and Gokhan Inler when he went to Napoli too.
Summer sales both of them, not midseason which is the point. They will not sell our best players in January. May is a different story.
Almost? : Nordin Amrabat traveled to London yesterday to conduct his medicals, after playing his last game for Malaga against Sevilla. The 28-year-old will have his medicals done today, as Watford look to close the deal soon. Watford boss Quique Sánchez Flores confirmed to Spanish radio Cadena Copethat the deal for Amrabat is done, and expressed his delight on landing a major transfer target. He told Cadena Cope: "We're happy to sign a very good player, barring any last minute issues. He is a high quality player, and a major signing for us." Amrabat was granted the permission by Malaga to travel to London yesterday, but the method of payment is still being decided by both the clubs. The Morocco international has made 12 La Liga appearances this season, without scoring a goal, and will cost Watford €8 million due to his buyout clause. This deal could potentially be a great deal for Watford as he has already played under their manager Sanchez Flores and seems to have a pretty good relationship with him. Although the Moroccan national has been pretty underwhelming for Malaga this season, he has generally been a decent player for all his clubs so far. He is a neat dribbler and can get out of tricky situations using his trickery. He also likes to play quick one-two’s with his team mates, and is good at short passing. He has a quick burst of pace as well which makes him a big threat during counters, so he will be a huge asset to them. His one huge weakness is that he commits some silly fouls, which could put his team at a disadvantage a lot of times, ( )so if he can cut that down, this deal could be a potential bargain. He is also a great crosser of the ball and can play in wide areas as well, so it’s easy to see why Watford would want him. Abdi has been under-performing for a while and they would want some competition on that right side. Amrabat has had a relatively bad season, but who knows, he could get back to his best under his former manager. A change of environment and a huge pay raise would obviously help things as well. It could turn out to be a steal at £6m, and even if he flops, there is not much they can lose so this signing could potentially be a master stroke by Flores.
Sorry should have provided a bit more detail. Nordin Amrabat Best skills in Málaga HD - YouTube Post it here and it will not show it, just tells you to look on YouTube
I know these clips only show the best of the player ( Layun for example), but I do like the way he looks up before crossing.
He knows where his team mates are and how to find him, that can't be a bad thing. A tweak in tactics perhaps? A tad more robust than Jurado I'd say.
