I love this, as soon as it all goes right it's "oh where are all the Bruce outers now eh?", like anybody could get satisfaction from looking down on those who dared suggest a change. They're probably where all the **** football is, handily waiting in the shadows to strike once more.
Exactly Sterling. A couple of lucky wins against the worst teams ever seen at the KC mean **** all. The blokes clueless, tactically naive with no plan B. Cant motivat the team and Phelans **** anarl. Bring in Thierrry Laury asap.
Yeah. While winning 6-0 is amazing, I'll reserve judgement until we've gone on another run. It's all well and good saying those who wanted Bruce out because of last year's performances were "hissy fitters", but I'm not going to totally reverse my opinion off the back of a win against a piss poor Charlton side. Those defeats to Leeds, Rotherham and Preston are still out there; I'd need a couple of solid away performances to totally convince me.
I don't think I've been called bugger lugs since I was 9. I've been here, and there. In fact I've been...well I've been working. A lot.
Yeah and while we're at it get rid of Maguire,Hernandez,Snodgrass,DiameClucas and Livermore. I mean what the **** do they bring to the table.???
What? What do they have to do with Steve Bruce being in or out? If it's fine to slate people for saying Bruce Out after some really awful performances, why does a 6-0 win suddenly mean everything is alright and fine? Is there a bipolar nature to football support that I'm not getting? I'm happy with the result and the league standing, I'm just asking the question.
Yeah, it's all smiles today. Do you know, I'm beginning to think you actually don't love this after all...
But its not just a 6-0 home win is it ? We are second in the Championship with 19 games to go. We haven't been out of the top 4 all season. We reached the last 8 of the League Cup, beating two PL teams on the way (FFS its not that long ago when we went 25 years and more before we beat a club from a higher division, Palace, league cup over two legs) and we are still in the FA Cup, So obviously such a high flying club like HCFC with their track record of winning things will want the manager sacked wont they ?
Yeah but we know that its impossible to please you. Anyway aint you supposed to be away on a City break??? Relax,Enjoy and chill. Actually you will chill there
Winning things? Aside from promotion what have we won? I only asked a simple question before, which was, if it's alright to have a go at those who are disgruntled and unhappy at the poor performances, why is it alright to be totally convinced after one thrashing? Why can't I ask the question, "where was this performance against Leeds, Rotherham, Preston or Wolves?" I've said all season that if we weren't challenging for promotion by Christmas then I'd want Bruce gone. He's done that, so now, he has to keep us going. If we don't get promotion this season with the players we have (and, if you like, the manager we have), it's a failure. Why shouldn't we have high expectations? I don't want Champions League football in 3 years, but I won't be happy if we don't go up, especially after we've given ourselves an outstanding opportunity.
Stirling you are entitled to your views but if we had lost 6-0 today you would be crowing, so you can't winge wheen those that back our manager have a go when we win 6-0. Think on we could have lost 6-0 today and we would still be second so to be fair this is not about one lucky result.
