Also, I couldn't help notice yesterday's Standard reporting that Eriksen had a quote-unquote meeting with Poch about how he's unhappy to be deployed on the wing - a report that featured no quotes from Eriksen to back up this assertion, but couldn't help bring up the story they published a week or so ago about Juventus and PSG looking at him.

The fact remains that under Hiddink, Chelsea have only won once in the league, with 4 draws.

They've taken 7 points out of 15.

They have no chance of finishing in the top 4, I can't believe the pundits even entertained the thought.

 

I foresee Uncle Roman's cheque book taking a large bashing in the not too distant future!..

 

All the pundits are waxing lyrical about Chelsea's comeback, but they drew, at home!

But for the fact that it's Chelsea we are talking about, you'd have said that it was a great point earned by a team in the grips of a relegation struggle. But you don't hear this kind of talk from the pundits.

 

To get in the top 4 you basically need 70 points, for Chelsea to get that total they need to win 15 out of the last 16 games and get a draw, they have more chance of getting relegated. It just shows how far they have fallen, celebrating a 98th minute goal like they just won the world cup for a draw at home, really just shows how bad they are.

 

Lescott jogs back towards his keeper while he makes one and just fails to make a second save, the latter on a player who sprinted past Lescott. Maybe his new weave is slowing Lescott down. There are shrubs that have moved more quickly, looked more interested in preventing a goal, and had more hair-like foliage.

I thought it was a brilliant fightback, the way Terry scored 8 minutes into 7 minutes of stoppage time and three feet offside. Tbf, I'm sure they would have awarded Everton a similar goal.,

 

can somebody please confirm that vardy was five yards offside for the Leicester goal, no mention on sky or the bbc website

 

Why are you bothering with today's matches. According to more than one presenter on TalkShite during the week it's the "big one"... you know 6th place against 9th......... !!!

I love this season, the pundits just can't cope...

 

Well that was the worst Premier League match I've ever seen. Just an awful standard of football. Players shinning it, aimless balls knocked into the air, first touches looking more like attempted passes, they're so bad. Even the goals were awful, Villa undone by a hoof up the pitch, followed by Okozaki managing to hit the 'keeper on the floor despite having the whole goal to aim at. Gestede managed to take a first touch so bad that it chipped into his arm before Huth graciously passed it back to him to send him on his way Oh and then there was the penalty, very good of Mahrez to pass the ball back to Villa, obviously he agreed that it was a very harsh decision. Reminded me of the Fowler one some years back.

Now where's those Leicester fans saying they play attacking football and that the Dyer handball was totally incorrect? I just watched Leicester stick 10 behind the ball to protect a 1-0 lead against the ****test side in the league, not to mention Leicester getting the benefit of 3 poor penalty decisions from the ref

 

So the united loving press are currently tapping up our academy coach, our manager, our striker and our keeper...why don't the go the whole hog and buy the ground, name and kit?
The press really hate us having a decent team...as well as these four their are the constant reports re Eriksen, Alli (European teams) and Rose (chelsea) being targeted.
