It's a Kodak Zx1 -

It's ****ing excellent. Only 79.99 on amazon now, RRP is 149.99, it;s on offer.

It's excellent, but BUY AN SDHC CARD WITH IT. It has about 1 minute of internal memory, you need to buy an SDHC card. Get an 8gb one.

Also check that your computer has an SD card slot, if not you'll have to buy an extension -

This thing is excellent. It's only a little big bigger than a mobile phone, it takes AA batteries so you can get a load of battery life. It also records in 720p HD, and the sound is excellent. But don't just judge it on my band video last night. It's even better in day light or high light situations. It'll be better for football matches.

btw get the black version. The pink version looks crap.
 
Seeing that my camera is about 8 years old I've convinced the wife that it needs replacing. I took photos last night of miniOT and all the indoor images are blurred to hell, the night time photos outside are terrrible and you can't define anything plus it's battery lasts 25 minutes when fully charged.

She's agreed that a Lumix G3 is needed!!!

cheers tash got a 32gb sdhc for my camcorder even though it's not exactly huge still a pain to carry round just use it for my hols but i think if i get one of those i'll ebay my camcorder

Good man. It's a class cam for the price. I probably wouldn't have payed 149.99 but it seems to be worth that amount, i suggest buy it while the offer is on.

How much is the JVC btw?

I'd suggest researching a bit on youtube. Check some sample vids and reviews. I can't imagine a better cam for this sort of price than the ZX1 though. It's normally 150 quid.

I'd recommend it and i don't think you'll regret it mate.

yeah i always do takes me ages to decide:) use a site called trusted reviews and test freaks there's also a site with video public reviews but the name escapes me
