Sure, he can do a job when needed but he can't be relied on to play on a regular basis imo.
We've got to longer term than the next half season. By this time next season our CBs could be
Kaboul, Coates, Jan, Beadling and ?
It's not as simple as sending him back mate, you can't just **** around with other club's assets. What if United did that to you, with Defoe for two games and you'd lined up a replacement based on the fee, only for us to say, 'Nah **** it, you have him back' and meanwhile you'd just lost a game.
With the CB's we have and their fitness/form history we need about 12 to cover the emergencies we seem to generateon a weekly basis. In truth we need at least three more defenders in to be anywhere confident of a happy end to this mishap of a season, I am less confident with every days passing that we will succeed.

The only way we will get rid of this bunch is to put them on the Creathauser and tow the s***e out into the North Sea.

I'm trying to see a link here for Ayew and wondering why he's being linked away with a move, Sam's well connected with agents that's all I can think of right now.
Be a decent addition if you can get him I'd say.
Think the idea is to have a look at him and extend till end of season, hope he plays well and gets the extension and moves on with his career.
