Yep. Shola did the exact same job vs Man Utd, if you remember, and yesterday was the best Mitro has ever played.

Shola is, quite hilariously faster, and a much better finisher (very funny, but sadly true). He is a perma crock, but plays on, which reduces his work rate and always has done, but Mitrovic can be a lazy **** as well and he's healthy.
Personally, I think Mitrovic has shown plenty of positives to make me think he could come good. Considering his age and the step up to a far tougher league I think he's actually done reasonably. He needs to work harder but he's been getting in positions to score but not had the luck - or maybe composure but that will improve over time. He gets knocked for his heading ability but personally I think he's talented in that area - just wait and see in the next couple of seasons. The simple fact is we shouldn't have been relying on Mitrovic so heavily this season but we are because the twats in charge never signed the experienced striker we needed.

100% this

200% this. Mitrovic is a class act. He has had a ton of pressure heaped on him and has been expected to score 15-20 goals in his first season. Not going to happen. He should have had a strike partner to take the burden off him and help him adjust. Proof of everything that is wrong with our recruitment policy. Mitrovic will go on to have a top career.

300% this, even if I'm essentially just agreeing with my own point.

This Bendtner link better be wrong!! There is no way we would go for him, shirley?

Ehh. I'm telling you. Riviere to be our unlikely saviour. Had an epiphany today while clipping me nails. You heard it here first.

Keep in mind I already predicted Mitro to have his coming out vs manU the other day.

Hopefully, the Clubs list of Striker targets, goes beyond a petulant schoolboy and a pair of crocks in Remy and Austin.

He did score inside the first minute of the U21 game last night...

Charnleys a numpty. All he needs to do is bid 7 mio for Remy. Who cares if Remy doesn't really want to come here? He'll score goals in any team. And as soon as he's getting some love he'll come around, and if not you just sell him with a minor profit next year. Austin (due to injuries) and Beharino (due to being a bitch) are too big a gamble.

Guus clearly doesn't rate Remy and is looking to bring in other strikers for Chelsea.

Get Remy in. He'll score at least 10 goals by the end of the season. The difference between bottom three and 17th.
