Having already signed one Serbian in the shape of Marko Grujic this month, Liverpool are preparing for another similar move. L'Equipe claim the Reds are keen on Andrija Zivkovic of Partizan Belgrade, with the 19-year-old scoring 12 goals in 27 appearances this season. He has also already made his debut for the national team. Liverpool won't be the only ones trying to sign Zivkovic though, with Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund and PSG all linked. According to Italian publication TMW, Liverpool have made official enquiries into signing Roma wonderkid Mirko Antonucci. The 16-year-old is considered among the most exciting prospects in Italy and the Rome based club are vulnerable to poachers with the youngster's contract running out in 2017. Manchester United are also being linked with the forward. Liverpool could be frustrated in their pursuit of Ben Chilwell. Not really as (a) he's got at least two years left anyway so a two extension puts him on a minimum four year deal, and (b) he got a pay raise. However, we've effectively only given him a two or three year extension anyway. Rumours are we've offer a new five year deal, not a five year extension
Well the pay rise will be to keep him happy and perform until we can cash in on him. Negative to that is last nite he was still ****e lol and will the wage increase put off a lot of clubs looking at him so we could be stuck with him. Who knows. This club has made a lot off odd decisions in the last decade

So it appears we are doing our best to get Markovic back... Not a bad shout, would like to see what Klopp can do with him + an extra person in the squad that could apply pressure to the likes of Lalalalalalana and Ibe to improve, perform better otherwise you're out and this lad will be in!
well... it says klopp is not one for wasting cash anyway. We are supposedly stuck with a wedge of cash so it appears klopp would want to look at markovic and see if the guy has any fight in him before deciding on a winger. If we play433 or 4231 there is 2 or 3 slots for a player like him and right now we hae only ibe and lallana fit as firmino is rotating with benteke up top. we will have to see what the deal is.. he played enough for that lot to make it not a straight forward move. I think he is deffo cup tied in europa though

Exactly, Klopp said all along he wants to assess the squad, he can't assess players like Markovic if he isn't here.. Like you said, get a half season with him, see how he performs and if he's able to play in Klopps system, if so, it saves us some cash in the Summer, if not, at worst he gets moved on or is retained to be part of the squad!
It is funny how rodgers was able to tell players they'd no future and **** off on loan and send out half the u21s on very variable loan qualities... the club top teir must have allowed hi mto do so expecting him to be staying.
Don't think the top talents will be loaned out as much from now on, its not what Klopp likes to do, not saying its right, sometimes getting game time in big boys league is better than being a fringe first teamer, not getting games and only the odd run out for the u21s...
