Yeah terrible that isn't it, young English manager gets a chance.

On the face of it, he didn't seem to get much of a chance, but he's only won three games this season, they're third from bottom and judging on the comments of their forum they think it was only a matter of time before he went. They seem to think John Sheridan is coming back.

Oldham Athletic Football Club can confirm that David Dunn is no longer First Team Manager.

Chairman Simon Corney said: “I would like to place on record my thanks and gratitude to David for his tireless efforts over the past four months under what have been extremely difficult circumstances and wish him all the best for the future. He retained his dignity at all times and his hard work and dedication has been commendable.”

Assistant Manager Dean Holden has also left the club. Corney said “Dean has been a loyal and dedicated servant to the club and he leaves with our gratitude and best wishes.”

The club can also confirm that First Team Coach, Keith Brown, has also left his role.

I saw Bob Monkhouse (r.i.p.) make that joke to Barbara Windsor on Celebrity Squares the other night on Challenge TV, the sad life I lead..

I have to say before seeing Bob Monkhouse at Bailey's in the seventies I didn't like him very much. But after the performance he put on, never stopped for 2 hours he went up In my estimation as a performer, very professional even though rather near the bone in the day.

Why, Notts County is their correct title? It's only the Forest fans who take the hump at the Notts prefix.
