Was expecting it to be turned down 55282 , just like the last offer for a striker and just like the next one ....much like our manager inquiries ...rejection is bringing dejection these days .
But as a player why would you want to come here at the moment, even though only 2 or 3 points behind those above us and realistically a chance of staying up. We don't have a permanent manager, we were unable to attract any sort of quality manager. Always thought this would be the problem with giving Curtis the job on a temporary basis. Was expecting it to be turned down 55282 , just like the last offer for a striker and just like the next one ....much like our manager inquiries ...rejection is bringing dejection these days .
Frankly , if I was a striker , I wouldn't want to come because of the possibility of a relegation struggle .But as a player why would you want to come here at the moment, even though only 2 or 3 points behind those above us and realistically a chance of staying up. Rumour on Planet Swan that Naismith and Gibson heading our way.
Thoughts?
How are other relegation threatened sides, not including villa, managing to attract players. It has never been a problem for us, but it is a massive one now.Frankly , if I was a striker , I wouldn't want to come because of the possibility of a relegation struggle .
If I was a manager , I wouldn't want to come because of Jenkins and his bumbling , sticking their nose where it don't belong board as an entire fuked up unit .
Word of mouth imo , players and managers talk amongst themselves and the verdict seems to be a general thumbs down to who we are as a club and how we are run , to who we use to be and how we use to be run .We've disevolved imo in neutrals eyes ..from managers , players and all the way down to fans imoHow are other relegation threatened sides, not including villa, managing to attract players. Again like the optimism or will it be banked for our Championship campaign next year.Have faith lads, now that we've got 9-12 million in the bank we'll get our striker. Given our cash funds, we probably had to wait for the Jonjo deal to go through first.
Liverpool will draw 30% of that right from the get go ......might have to save some for Vormgate , if Gomis goes on the cheap we may have to subsidize his leaving cheque . Monk has to be payed .should still leave us enough to get Graham thoughHave faith lads, now that we've got 9-12 million in the bank we'll get our striker. Why do I have this sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach that Jenkins is up to something ?It makes the deal selling Jonjo even more remarkable if true![]()
I think there is a clause already there that says he gets 8 million regardless of when he leaves .The way I took it , he's paying his own wages while he's here because if he leaves we have to make up the difference ... Could be wrongWhy? If he wanted to leave we could put a clause saying he waivers the remaining fee?

Social media keeps everyone informed all over the "Small" world these daysAstute and very succinct observation. A club run by the fans for the fans, yeah that`s dissolved a while ago. While Huw was doing this job at the beginning he deserved a round of applause, now he`s doing very well on the payroll he should realise that he`s not the be all and end all of this club. Get someone in who knows what they`re doing.
But if he wants to leave we could tell him to waiver the remaining fee etc.
