I wouldn't be upset if we bought Gayle, only if we spent much more than we got for Grabban. For me he represents an improvement over grabban even if just a modest one. So if we could do that for no real net spend I couldn't really grumble. That said it is not a real step forward in quality and it is that which we require with the majority of signings to move us from perenial yoyoers to a stable PL club. Bah!
