I'd bet my shirt WHEN not if Grabban bangs one in against us on Saturday he won't be following the current trend of not celebrating against his old team?

I really hope we do not sign Gayle, it's being reported in the Croydon Advertiser this morning.

I wouldn't be upset if we bought Gayle, only if we spent much more than we got for Grabban. For me he represents an improvement over grabban even if just a modest one. So if we could do that for no real net spend I couldn't really grumble. That said it is not a real step forward in quality and it is that which we require with the majority of signings to move us from perenial yoyoers to a stable PL club.

Bah!

His legs have gone, surely? Talks a good game, but I can't see him adapting to the bustle of the Premier League, too frail.

Tarkowksi of Brentford the latest CB linked.

And Grabban will be available to play against us.
Ha! That's funny! I saw Burnley linked with him yesterday, and looked him up as thought they usually recruit well. He looks good. Was tempted to mention his name on here but didn't. Interesting.

He's not as mobile as he used to be, but come on, his intelligence is far beyond anything we have at the club currently! Surely he'd still excel in a deep-lying playmaker role.

Just been having a chat with a Wolves fan and he reckons Afobe has had a pretty poor season so far and doesn't think he's PL standard.
