I haven't wanted to look a dick, for quite a while, so I've said nothing. What does FM mean that posters keep saying? I'm not up with the cool kids these days
I've just now realised that I've been thinking of the wrong player all this time, I thought Dame N'Doye was Sone Aluko for some reason. Definitely an upgrade on Aluko so I'm happy, N'Doye should be a good solid signing.
Sunderland attacker Jeremain Lens offered to Roma, Bologna by Carlos Volcano19 minutes ago< 500 READS SHARE THE LOVE Roma are interested in Sunderland attacker Jeremain Lens. TMW says Lens has been offered to Roma and Bologna this month. The Dutchman has played 14 games this season, scoring twice. However, he has endured a controversial campaign, falling out withSunderland boss Sam Allardyce before Christmas. Roma and Bologna have been encouraged to take Lens on-loan by Sunderland representatives.
Ffs hope this isn't true.. It's as if short has given up,and all in the most important season to do it with all the money we could make..
Sam came out and said yesterday that he's had no offers for Lens and wants him to be a part of the relegation fight. We all know there's a player in there, it's up to Sam to find the best in him. Personally I'd let him have a Sess esque role in the team. Let him float around the midfield and find pockets of space.
Sam Allardyce ideally wants another TWO signings before the end of the month, but that will depend on Sunderland’s success in moving players on. Sunderland are on the verge of confirming their second signing of the January transfer window, with striker Dame N’Doye putting the finishing touches to a four month loan deal from Turkish side Trabzonspor, which could be converted into a permanent switch at the end of the season. I’m bordering on the generosity of the owner if I don’t get anybody out Sam Allardyce If, as expected, ex-Hull man N’Doye arrives at the Stadium of Light, then Allardyce will have addressed his January priorities of a new centre-forward and centre-half. But the Sunderland manager remains on the look-out for another couple of additions, understood to include a right-back. However, the Black Cats must shift some players out first, with the club’s wage bill already on the limits set by Premier League regulations. Allardyce told the Echo: “I would like to get two more if I can. “But I’m bordering on the generosity of the owner if I don’t get anybody out. “And also, I’ve got to be very aware of the wage scenario today with the regulations. It’s not just an open door anymore, so we have to be very mindful of the overall position of the club.” Winger Will Buckley is expected to be one out of the door - with the ex-Brighton man close to joining Birmingham on loan - and Allardyce will continue his efforts to shift players on after this weekend’s trip to Spurs. There are several who could leave the Stadium of Light, including fringe figures Danny Graham and Jordi Gomez, plus one of the three goalkeepers on the club’s books. If Sunderland received a tempting offer, Steven Fletcher is vulnerable with only six months remaining on his contract, while the Black Cats could also bring a premature end to the loan spells of Ola Toivonen and DeAndre Yedlin. But Allardyce admits it is tough to offload players on a permanent basis. “As is usual, it looks like there’s a lot of people coming in for loans, where they want you to help with the wages,” he said. Allardyce is happy with the haste of Sunderland’s progress in the transfer market though, with N’Doye joining defender Jan Kirchhoff before the midway point of the window. “Yes, I’ll be very pleased to have two deals done,” he added. “It’s a calculated risk; hoping they can hit the ground running. “Dame has certainly done it before, whereas it’s Jan’s first-time here. “It will be difficult, but hopefully he can master the physical demands of the Premier League because we know he’s got the technical talent and tactical awareness to prove he is a good player at this level.” Read more: http://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport...y-can-offload-players-1-7669665#ixzz3x1JsWLIu
Kone deal back on ? http://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2016/sunderland-re-enter-negotiations-for-lamine-kone/? According to L’Équipe, Premier League strugglers Sunderland have re-entered negotiations with Lorient for the transfer of Lamine Koné, a player who was due to join them at the beginning of the transfer window only for the Black Cats to call the move off. Everything had been agreed before the January transfer window opened and Koné even went to England for a medical, but Sunderland pulled out of the deal at the last minute by changing certain clauses in Koné’s proposed contact which they knew he would not accept. Well, talks have restarted between the two clubs and a move is now back on as a possibility during this transfer window.
Well that's a much cheaper alternative to a points deduction Maybe there was some substance to the accusations.
It could be they have realised Kirchoff is a long way off match fit and want somebody who can come straight in and play?
The club giving the impression we`re trying to buy players when, in reality, we`re not? I don`t know mate really. You`re guess is as good as mine. It does nothing to change my view that the boardroom is an absolute clueless ****ing shambles.
6 ? O'Shea, Brown, Kaboul, Coates, Jan Who am I missing ? I dont even think Brown counts, as he cant be asked to play too often. O'Shea will only be around for another season after this one imo.
